Alex Molaschi AKA Lexin is actually 24 ! He began mixing for fun with a computer program at the age of 12 and it started to get serious around 13-14 years old. At the same time he started making his own songs with a computer program and he has plenty of ideas each day that fill up his songs and his ambition keeps growing ! Where will it lead to ?

Like most other DJs, DJ Lex started small.  Private gigs (disc jockey shorthand for an event that's not open to the public) like weddings and baby showers marked the career of the young novice.  For DJs who've taken a different route, it's easy to write off a sweet 16 or bridal shower.  The experience gained at these events however, is essential to any DJs trade.  Dealing with desperate song requests, drunken uncles and carrying heavy equipment in and out of vehicles translates into the club world, particularly pushy club patrons and bossy owners or promoters.  And so, after 4 years of small scale events, a battle-tested Lex ventured into the club world.

In 2006, DJ Lex joined a group of DJs and soundmen under the LosTraficante.com umbrella.  As a member of an entourage, Lex observed his fellow LTP DJs work in clubs; it was this group of experiences that strengthened his desire to become a working club DJ.  A year later, Kenny Cole made arrangements to have Lex perform at a club for the first time. Lex' club debut was parlayed into a weekly club residency, no small feat in New York City clubs.  2008 brought Lex a larger, more popular venue to control: Maracas.  The Queens hotspot combines the hottest live bands with DJs like Lex and Eli.  Bigger clubs mean bigger promotion; Lex' name started to be branded in patrons' and promoters' minds alike, and he found himself being booked more and more.

Club DJing is a combination of things: talking, mixing and song selection.  The latter can prove a challenge in an era where digital formats are easily traded, and so-called exclusives hold their unshared glamour for the briefest of moments.  Classics are classics, and songs of the moment are a must.  But in an effort to keep one's sets exclusives, many DJs make personal edits of songs to play out.  Some edits are laughable, others pointless; a truly effective edit must sound good, be well produced and fit in to a set, not only for the DJ but also for the dancer.  DJ Lex' beginner edits used a program with the perjorative moniker "Virtual DJ".  Using the oft-maligned platform, he made simple reggaeton blends (placing one instrumental track together with an acapella track to make what some call a "mash-up") that worked surprisingly well.  Not limiting himself to nightclubs, Lex distributed his edits and blends on various internet forums, and as time passed his recognition grew.

Like any successful person, DJ Lex' can trace his arrival on the edit scene to a single event; his edit of Omega's "Chambonea" had many a DJ inquiring about it's origin and producer.  With the heavily requested merengue track finely edited, it found it's way into most latin DJs record boxes.  There were more edits to come: these simple and efficient edits garnered Lex a meeting with club edit heavyweight DJ Lil'JayRemix. Biography:
“I’ve always been the loud one!” Growing up just outside of London, Katy has been creating music with her producer/songwriter brother George and her ‘brother from another mother’, Rick Parkhouse (Red Triangle) since she was 17 years old. She would join her older brothers for acoustic performances anywhere and everywhere from the beach to underground clubs in London city. The duo would play open mics, performing covers and originals. That's where Katy really began to cut her teeth as a performer, focusing on developing a musical style of her own. Her goal has always been to write relatable music. “Personally, I search for songs that comfort me and let me know I'm not the only one who feels a certain way,” Katy says. “If I help one person through what I was feeling when I wrote a song, I'll be happy. I hope I can give back what I searched for in music.”

After a serious heartbreak, Katy and her brothers penned the fiercely impassioned “Fire Fire,” which immediately got picked up on the influential blog Arjan Writes in early 2012. The song caught the ear of the music industry, including some major label executives, and Katy’s life, as she knew it, changed. She flew to LA only telling close friends and family and signed a major label record deal with Republic/Lava Records. She spent the next year in the states dipping in and out of recording studios and working with some of the most well respected names in the industry. After a year and a half, Katy and Republic/Lava parted ways in the summer of 2013. It was a low point, but Katy stayed focused and stuck it out in LA. “I didn’t let this deter me,” she says. “This is a bump in the road and it’s a marathon, not a sprint.” 

In October of 2013, Katy was introduced to Rock Mafia, by music executive Bruce Tyler who asked Katy to record “The Big Bang,” a boisterous pop number the production duo initially released in 2010. The song was immediately relatable for Katy thanks to its opening lines: “I don't wanna lie/I'm gonna take what you're giving/'Cause I know you're willing/To take me all the way.” For Katy, those words represented how she felt in that moment.

Thanks to the incredible support from the executives at Clear Channel/iHeartRadio, Katy was awarded their “On The Verge” campaign. This was a huge coup for an unsigned artist and not one to hide her feelings, Katy cried as though she’d just won a Grammy when she heard the news and nearly fell down some stairs. Since then the single has entered the Hot 100 chart, iTunes’ “Top Pop Songs” chart and Shazam’s “Top 100 USA.” The song’s success, as well as Katy’s unwavering, good-spirited determination, also scored a new record label deal with Atlantic Records, with whom she will release her debut album later this year. 

For Katy, an outspoken, witty songwriter the music begins with the inspirations that have lingered since childhood, from reggae beats to soul vocalists, from Stevie Wonder to Alicia Keys, all the way to Katy Perry. “Music is everything to me.  It’s my best friend, my worst enemy, my boyfriend and my ex rolled into one.  I’m extremely dedicated, but never want one day to go by without a good laugh.”

It’s just Techno bro, it’s not that serious.
