Sonic explorers, label heads, pillars of the Melbourne/Naarm underground, Sleep D explore the rave unconscious - driving rhythms, hypnotic bass, worlds of echo and the hazy bliss of the morning after. Childhood friends with Iraqi and Maltese lineage, the duo and their legacy building Butter Sessions label have ushered in a new era, sensibility and productivity to the city that raised them.

A defiantly DIY two-man assembly line, Maryos Syawish and Corey Kikos have issued a steady stream of diverse records on their own imprint, as well as on like-minded international outposts Incienso, Planet Euphorique and Cocktail d'Amore. Releasing ‘Rebel Force’ in 2019 and ‘Electronic Arts’ in 2023, their albums bind a singular take on mutated house, bush doof, dub techno and downtempo, while their composition and production capacity has also been augmented via 2021’s chamber orchestra collaboration ‘Flashed Glass’ and the rescored film soundtracks for ‘Eraserhead’ and ‘Pan’s Labyrinth’.

With long-standing DJ residencies and an ever evolving live show fit for both clubs and vast paddocks, the dexterous duo’s alchemy has energised hordes across the US, UK, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Spike Fuck is inspired primarily by love and obsession, addiction, sexual disorientation, Catholic guilt and washed up 60s musicians who make overproduced comeback albums a decade later crying out for redemption and a maybe even just little bit of the limelight back. Spike Fuck describes her music and attitude as a whole (for the sake of classification and utility) as “smackwave” - a blend of late 80s new wave and late 70s post-punk, a dash of country music/singer-songwriter sensibilities delivered in Las Vegas Ballroom karaoke vocal style. Currently working on her first full-length project, she describes her sound as  “country music uncovered in an archived .zip file somewhere on the Deep Dark Web.” But above all else - in the post-smackwave era Spike - lies at its heart a story of redemption, forgiveness and the ability to transcend pain through singing and dancing about it.

Julia Towers is a DJ Selector from the vibrant Bogotá, a city that mixes cultures and sounds, inspiring her to share her love for music in Melbourne, Australia. In 2021, she made a splash in the DJ scene there, becoming part of the musical collectives ISU TAKI and EL GRAN MONO. Since then, she’s created a network of organization and collaboration, hosting events with DJs from all over the world, while celebrating the lively multicultural diversity of this magical city.

Her music selection takes you on a thrilling adventure through the underground scene, always searching for those unique and catchy beats that spark a sense of rebellion and identity, making even the shyest want to groove. On top of that, she dives into classic, avant-garde, and daring sounds that have influenced modern music. The rhythmic vibe, combined with the sound mixes, will transport you to distant places and times through the world's echoes, with sets full of energy, freshness, and an amazing flow in every beat.
