Good music is born out of a desire to tell a story to a wide range of listeners across all walks of life. With his drive and passion for music, International Reggae Artist and Producer, Ed Robinson is bringing reggae music to the world.  

Ed Robinson is a musical veteran and icon with a strong and deeply rooted musical background. With music as a priority and driving force in his life, the singer injects his brilliant musicality into every aspect of his life. Robinson began his musical career as a drummer in a school band and showed signs from a very early on of his intense musical talent. Over the years he found himself becoming a key player in many genres of music, including Reggae, Rock, Soul, Hip Hop and R&B.  

Robinson is a rare blend of an entertainer, songwriter, music producer, and invigorating performer. He has released over ten albums, each of which displays his immense talent and have helped him to top the reggae music charts throughout his career as an artist. As a producer, he has worked with some of the industry’s most well-known voices, including Dennis Brown, Richie Stephens, Buju Banton, Luciano, Maxi Priest, Super Cat, Snoop Dogg, and many others. Ed Robinson’s ability to seamlessly transition across various parts of the industry makes him an exceptional person to work with, listen to, and watch perform. Kemar had an early exposure to music watching and learning from his father, Producer & Label CEO EAST COAST RECORDS. Kemar was able to live in his fathers shadows while producing several Hit songs prior to his retirement. Kemars experiences under his father’s wing gave him the opportunity to be in the mist of great artist, such as Beenie Man, Bounty Killa, New Kidz and Ghost. Kemar took a natural liking to the industry and made a mental note that this is where I belong. Kemar decided to continue his fathers legacy and take on Eastcoast as a stage name. Kemars major break was meeting up with Mr Pepper in 1997, thus beginning to pen his own lyrics. In2000 Kemar met with Harry Todler from the Scary Dem Crew who began the introduction to legendary Buju Banton. From that point on Kemar was constantly in the presents of talented Reggae artist and began working on projects through Gargamel Music Inc. With Buju’s direction, in 2006 ‘100 Watts’ rhythm was completed with a huge success and his collaboration with Ghost ‘Its All Over’ ranked 2nd bellow Buju’s ‘Nuttin Too Wide’. This gave Eastcoast the publicity needed and the drive to continue his journey in music.
With goals to re-establish and build up his own label with fellow friends/ artist Eastcoast connects with his audiences because he is an all-purpose. The good, the bad, and the cultural essentials breathe through his music. Kemar’s burning desire to make his and his loved ones live better makes him a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. Kemar says “Its a competition, if an Artist do a track and its an A, then I must do a track that is A+”, 
Kemar prides himself on being a Plant that flourished from concrete. You don’t know what Kemar has seen, where he is going but just look for him on top.
