Born in Newark, New Jersey, up and coming R&B soul sensation D'yon Musiq has always had a passion for music.A dedicated and driven singer/songwriter, D'yon has created a unique style of music that blends elements of pop and hip hop, with R&B.His devotion to music as well as his writing and  artistic talent have led him to performing at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem, on the top talent search show American Idol, as opening act for multi-platinum hip-hop 
powerhouses Fabolous and Rick Ross, and as a writer for Bad Boy Records recording artist Day26, and Danity Kane. D'yon also has worked with multi-platinum producers Michael Summers better known as Seven, Danger (Brian Burton), Deezle (Darius Harrison), and Amadeus (Antwan Thompson).D'yon is currently in negotiation for distribution, and will be participating In 2014 film festival in New York City .With his highly anticipated solo project done ,Musiq is currently hosting R&B night throughout the city .A true student of his craft, he is an artist thru and thru who possesses a wide vocal range, places great emphasis on the artistic progression and evolution of his music style, and has a sincere passion for live vocal performances. - Lookout for the year of D’Yon
