This is a (unfortunately rather out of date) selection of recordings of instrumental harp in solo and collaborative work. Playing for over 30 years, Rachel uses her extensive experience as a harpist working with different acts and ensembles from folk singers to symphony orchestras to celtic jam bands to hip hop and funk acts, blended with her classical training as a soloist, to create a sound both refined and unique.

Animal Shelter is a 4 piece Alternative/Funk Rock band from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Formed in the summer of 2012, the band have been getting together writing songs with the influences of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Arctic Monkeys, Band of Skulls, the Black Keys and many other great bands. Animal Shelter recorded their self-titled EP with BTownSound Studios in Burlington, Ontario. The boys released their Debut EP on September 20th 2013 at the Casbah in Hamilton. Future plans include a full length album and getting ready to play the festival circuit next spring and summer. With the end of 2013 fast approaching the guys from Animal Shelter are looking forward for things to come and you should be too. 2014 promises to be a big year for Animal Shelter!

We're a Funky Rock/Blues/Alternative band from Hamilton Ontario, with our diverse musical roots stretching from Sublime to Pantera and back to the Beatles, Floyd, and Zeppelin. Even a bit of hip hop, R&B and disco. Every band and artist had an important influence on the history of music to date thus far, so our influences includes almost everything! We've played around Hamilton's cover circuit for about 5 years and decided it was time to finally develop some exciting original idea's. Stay tuned for our first fully original Album closer to the fall/winter months!!
