Some say the most interesting artists are the ones with the most diverse influences, those with the most of open minds. That being said, it was only natural that djElimu delve deep into the realm of musical awareness. 

djElimu began spinning records way back in 1986 when some of today’s party-goers were either: just being created or rocking diapers and baby shoes. 

Gaining inspiration from his love of vintage hip hop and electronic sounds, his early sets were eclectic and got house parties bumping along the upper east coast of the United States. As djElimu's skills grew behind the decks, so did his personal taste in music. 

Being a fan of hip hop breaks, b-boy jams and hard bass vibes, djElimu's early love for old school house music, early electronic beats, vintage industrial and ragga jungle allowed his sets to grow & really cover the diverse spectrum of music as a whole.

In the early-90’s, djElimu began to incorporate intelligent dnb & dubstep into his vast eclectic music repertoire.

Not content with just simply spinning records, djElimu began promoting events in New York City for Liquid Sky NYC & NASA (Nocturnal Audio Sensory Awakening), 
as well as the early Caffeine events in NJ/NY.

djElimu often immersed  himself in sound at :

djElimu is grateful to have played at festivals and events all over the country, in San Diego, New Jersey, NYC, Vermont, Canada, Mexico and abroad.
    
djElimu has held down a residency on WJSC 90.7 FM, a pirate radio station in Johnson, VT; and has also held a residency at Power750 WAUG Raleigh, NC.

djElimu entertained packed venues and has warmed the crowds for Jersey-based wordsmiths; Arcane, CapitalX and opened for other artists such as Immortal Technique and many others. 
djElimu  recognizes many hip hop influences along the way, citing early 90s artists such as The Beastie Boys, RUN DMC, WuTang Clan and A Tribe Called Quest as favorites. 

Artists that have influenced djElimu on the early underground electronic music scene include: AK1200, Aphrodite, Brisk, Carl Cox, Carlos Soulslinger, Dee Lite, Dara, DB, Diaz Brothers, 
Dj Rap, Dj Dmitry, Emer, Felix Da Housecat, Jellybean, Joeski, Junior Vasquez, Marshall Jefferson, Micro, Moby, Pete Tong, Reid Speed, and many more.

Ledgxrs were a rock blues band formed in 2010 featuring guitarist and singer Max, keyboardist/guitarist Alex Antonov, bassist Daniel Reese, and drummer Michael Reese.

Ledgxrs lasted a short time and self-released the album "Bertolt Brecht, Cabaret & Rock'n'Roll" in 2013.

Christian Classic Rock • Instrumental Guitar Hymns

I create Christian rock music influenced by the melodic, emotionally driven sound of the 80s–90s, alongside a separate body of peaceful instrumental guitar hymns meant for reflection, prayer, and quiet listening.

Based in Bathurst, New Brunswick, my music is shaped by personal experience, refined through hardship, and offered in faith. My Christian rock releases blend classic rock textures with themes of redemption, endurance, and spiritual renewal. In contrast, my instrumental guitar hymns are intentionally restrained and reverent, designed to bring rest and clarity to the listener.

This page is a place for sincere, purpose-driven music—focused on message, atmosphere, and meaning rather than trends. Every soul bears God’s image, without partiality or judgment. My hope is that these songs offer peace to the weary and point gently toward truth, mercy, and hope in Christ. Lord have mercy on all those who have to suffer the horrible abomination that causes desolation.
