Originally born in Baltimore, 21 year old Brendan Gill (better known by his stage name Brendan Musik) recently graduated from Berklee College of Music after pursuing an education in Music Business and Management. From a young age, he has been passionate about singing and with the support of his family, decided to transform this childhood hobby into a full time career. Influenced by the music of contemporary artists including SZA, Janelle Monae, and Frank Ocean, Brendan aims to "create sonic atmospheres for people to get lost in". His commercial tinged alternative R&B sounds reflects his love of creating a harmonic medium between the classic and the unfamiliar. Brendan put his talents to the test with the creation of Musik Mondays. A series of music released weekly on his personal Soundcloud, Brendan pushed himself to consistently organize his creative process efficiently around a short deadline. This offered him a method of strengthening his production and songwriting skills, establishing his brand, attracting a fan base, and ultimately putting all his energy to good use. More recently, he has opened up for R&B singer, Tinashe at Brighton Music Hall and has performed as the headliner for RAW:natural born artists showcase at the Middle East Downstairs. With the release of Brendan’s newest track Snapchatty Chat, Brendan continues to make more new music and perform.

alt-J are one of the most successful British bands of the millennium. Their 2012 Mercury Prize and Ivor Novello Award-winning debut An Awesome Wave, was followed two years later by their number one, GRAMMY and BRIT Award-nominated album This Is All Yours. Released in 2017, RELAXER flew straight into the top 10 of the UK album chart ahead of a summer of major international shows - including a headline show at London’s O2 Arena and headline performances at numerous festivals - and became their second album to be nominated for the Mercury Prize.

Band members include rapper lyricist Jackson Whalan, producer/guitarist Sam Eckstein (Esseks), drummer Brandon Lewis, and vocalist/percussionist Carmen Estevez. All four members collaborate on producing evocative instrumentals while injecting each of their own unique elements in the live setting, often building the energy of the crowd to a feverish peak.

I have been doing music of all sorts since i learned to play the guitar at age 16. This is my creative outlet or at least one of them i excel in and I am excited and thankful to be apart of the sound cloud movement. Any feedback is appreciated-really any.
