Rooney is an Australian artist out of Melbourne that writes music with the intention of having stories that people relate too when they listen. He does this by writing about personal experiences growing up, his sexuality and how it feels to live in the current world. Rooney is heavily influenced by Rock, Jazz, Funk and Soul music. Rooney hopes because of this and the content that he writes about, he can reach many people from different walks of life, transcending race, gender or social context. Cause that’s what music is all about.
