Talkin’ Loud was founded by Gilles Peterson and Norman Jay in 1990.
The label’s name was based on Peterson's sunday club session 'Talkin’ Loud And Sayin’ Somethin' (aka Dingwalls).
Gilles ran the label for over a decade with Paul Martin before he left the label in 2001.
Laced with funky, jazzy and soulful numbers the label was proliferated by remixes from some of the scenes great producers...
