George Cameroon (GC): RnB/Pop Recording artist, song writer, Performer, Music Video Director and Record Producer, was born in Kumba and grew up there, in the South West Province of Cameroon, West Africa.
GC is the third child (of seven children) to Mr. and Mrs. Eta. GC has two older brothers, three younger brothers and a younger sister. GC`s real name is George Besong Eta.
The stage name “George Cameroon” was dubbed after a lot of questions about his name and where he is originally from and also because of the love for his roots. “If you do not know where you are from…, you will not know where you are going”.
GC studied Plant Biology (Botany) for three years at the University of Dschang, in Cameroon. This made GC very bilingual (French and English).
GC moved to South Africa in January 2004, where he studied Marketing Management at the then Bond University in Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa (An Australian University).
GC worked as a security officer for a year to cover up his educational and life expenses. GC also worked as a restaurant manager at Wimpy for two years. GC later joined the retail giant, Pick n Pay, and worked there for eight years, as the Senior Receiving Manager.
With all these education, skills and experience acquired, GC was still not satisfied. There were still some things missing; a wife, children and pursuing his musical career. GC got married and has three sons. GC then followed his passion and ignited his dreams for music.
GC`s singing and dancing abilities were inspired by greats such as Boyz 2 Men, Michael Jackson, R. Kelly and Usher Raymond, who inspired him in writing his first song in 2000.
GC worked on this inspiration and did a five track demo in October 2011, and further recorded his debut hit single, “Lollipop” in August 2012.
Although this single “Lollipop” enjoys little airplay, the response from around the world became huge, even without then releasing a music video. 
GC has been to Channel O and S.A.M.A awards.

GC  writes and composes his own songs and co-produces them. As a talented new-comer, he directed and produced his promotional music video (“Lollipop”). 
GC directed a holiday musical and performed on stage songs by Boyz 2 Men, at the age of eighteen (18), along side his younger brother, Kelvin.
GC`s songs are based on his personal experiences, life happenings and some wild imaginations. GC started performing on stage at the age of fifteen (15), while in secondary school.
GC`s career will see fans being serenaded by Rnb, Pop, Hip Hop, Afro Pop, Rnb/Rock, Blues, RnB/Jazz and dance hall songs. GC`s songs will transcend race and age and will see him collaborating with other artist of different music genres.
GC is currently working on internationally releasing his debut album “Lollipop” through his Record label, Do It Records (New Zealand). The album will feature guest artists like Adolf Fayaman (From Cameroon), Nature (From Nigeria) and Ntombi (From South Africa). GC seeks to receive a multi-platinum certification for this “Lollipop” album.
Signed to a world-class record label (Do It Records), the sky will be his rare view.
