The New Album 'Birds That Flew and Ships That Sailed' - Out Now

Country music maverick Chase Rice has become one of country music’s most exciting figures since arriving in Nashville, building a loyal fan base across the country through his energetic live shows and gaining the attention of music critics and industry professionals alike with his edgy, eclectic sound. The Tar Heel State native recently released his first taste of new music with “Lonely If You Are,” now available on all digital platforms and climbing the charts at Country radio. The song follows his sophomore album, Lambs & Lions, released with Broken Bow Records in 2017 and featuring two-week chart-topper “Eyes On You” – Rice’s first No. 1 as an artist and the most-streamed song of his career with more than 200 million streams and counting. Lambs & Lions followed Ignite the Night, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the all-genre chart, producing a pair of Top 5 hits; the Platinum-certified “Ready Set Roll” and “Gonna Wanna Tonight.” After supporting Kenny Chesney’s The Big Revival Tour, Rice has consistently sold out 2,500-3,000 seat venues on his own headlining tours, plus served as direct support on the Luke Bryan Farm Tour 2018. His current headlining AM/PM Tour runs through the rest of 2019 before his The Pint of Anything Tour hits Europe in early 2020.

After an extended hiatus, Blackchords are back and have been busy writing material for their third album ‘Shadows’. Forming in Melbourne, Blackchords quickly made a name for themselves when their 'chilling yet beautiful' music video ‘Broken Bones’ won Best Music Video in the prestigious St Kilda Film Festival.
Blackchords released their self-titled debut album through independent Melbourne label DustDevil Music, receiving widespread critical acclaim and rave reviews: “Melbourne quartet shoots for the stars on widescreen debut” (Rolling Stone). The album was shortlisted for The Australian Music Prize.
Songs from the debut album have been featured in the Australian television shows Underbelly: Razor, Offspring, Rescue Special Ops, Cops L.A.C. and international television including Teen Mom (MTV) and Being Human (NBC).
After extensive national touring, the band travelled to France and the UK, playing The Great Escape and Liverpool Sound City festivals. The music video for the band's second single ‘At World's End’ received airtime on MTV UK and NME TV. 
After returning to Australia, Blackchords accepted an invitation to open for Australian rock icons Powderfinger for the 'Sunset Sounds Farewell Tour' at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Blackchords went on to write and record the title track ‘As Night Falls’ for the Australian feature film ‘Blame’.
After a successful crowdfunding campaign, the band embarked on their sophomore album ‘A Thin Line’, working with Mercury Music Prize-nominated and Grammy Award-winning producer David Odlum (Glen Hansard, Tinariwen), releasing the album through ABC Music. As well as touring nationally, the band embarked on a tour of the USA and Canada, including performances at Austin's SXSW festival.
Through their relationship with music publisher Native Tongue, Blackchords continues to gain and maintain international exposure through features in acclaimed and popular television, such as Orange is the New Black (Netflix), Suits (UCP), Betrayal(ABC), Teen Wolf (MTV), Being Human (BBC), Shameless (Showtime) and more.
