Johnathan Kennedy better known by his stage name J'Ken(30Rack or NWA YEN), is an American rapper, Film Editor, and Actor last seen in N.W.A. STRAIT OUTTA COMPTON. With the release of his street mixtapes "White Bitch Inn Trap House"(2007) and "MOBERATI" hosted by AP.9 of the Mob Figaz(2009) on Mob Shop Entertainment J’Ken grew a buzz throughout the California and Southern Nevada. His smash single "SIDESHOW" Feat. Big Baby and drove over the hyphy movement which put J'ken on the map.

       Born in the Oakland,Ca, Johnathan H. Kennedy began recording at a the young age of thirteen with the bay areas hottest performers and producers. His older childhood friend Kyron Williams(stage name: 18K or Eighteen) took J'Ken in the studio everywhere he went, were he rubbed shoulders with seasoned Bay Area emcees like Master P, Silk Tha Shocker, Spice 1, E-40, Mistah Fab, Suga T, Mob Figaz, Yukmouth, Sean T, Hittaz On Da Payroll, and Erk Tha Jerk. 

       In 2001 Eighteen dropped his debut album "Certified Heavyweight” and grabbed the attention of Platinum Producer Sean T who's made classic tracks sense the early 90s. Mac Dre - "Feelin Myself" just to name one. Sean T signed Eighteen and The Game to artist deals in 2002 and the Hyphy Movement began. 

     After highschool he decided to go to film school at the University of Nevada Las Vegas an now makes some of the most creative music videos we see today. J'ken is now working on his own independent flim directed by "Rona N The Hood". The  urban comedy is set to be in theaters December 2020.
