This song was born from my idea in 1991, to combine my different musical styles, Afrobeat, Funk, Jazz Funk, Latin influences. Released only in an extended 12 "version on vinyl, it became a hit in the British niche charts, thanks to the radio promotion of: Gilles Peterson, who played this song a lot, because it anticipated the Acid Jazz musical trend that grew in the early years' 90 .15 years after its first release, it was included in two prestigious compilations: Sanit Germain Des Pres Cafe 'Vol.7 and Get This Party Started! Along with prestigious artists: James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Micheal Buble etc ... Never proposed in the digital market, but only on physical support, I decided to re-release it after a careful remastering.

A few nights ago, I was watching an old movie of 1987, "Bagdad Cafe' ".  I did not remember "Calling you" : the beautiful song in the soundtrack ... I could not resist to put the hands for play on it... I increased the time from 80 to 94 bpm, I made an edit on the draft, I added new rhythms, percussions and effects ... and now it is playable in a Nu Disco-Slow Motion contest. This is an un-mastered low quality preview 96kb...Work in Progress.
