    A protégé of T.I. and a member of the crew P$C, Atlanta rapper Big Kuntry King began his quest for hip-hop stardom by selling mix-tapes out of the trunk of his car. After a guest spot on T.I.'s 2001 album, I'm Serious, King made numerous other guest appearances before joining P$C for the album 25 to Life, released in 2005, which spawned the lead single, "I'm a King" featuring Lil' Scrappy. In 2008 he began his solo career with the album My Turn to Eat, released by the major-label affiliate Atlantic.
 
     On February 27, 2012, Big Kuntry King released a mix-tape titled 100% (KANE), including production from Zaytoven, Nard & B and Two Band Geeks and features a guest appearance from T.I. In December 2012 Big Kuntry King released another mix-tape, Dope & Champagne. Off the Dope & Champagne mix-tape, “Kickin Flava” is a single that features fellow Atlanta rapper and Grand Hustle general T.I.P., the video directed by PhillyFlyBoy.
