Hailing from Perth, Western Australia and spawned from a love of all things heavy ‘Beatsmack’ is the brainchild of Tom Beziuk aka Bezwun (producer/dj) and Ryan Sloan aka Intercept (producer/dj).

“The goal is simple - Beatsmack is an outlet for the heavier side of funky electro breaks. The tunes represent everything we are influenced by… I guess we’re a melting pot of what we listen to and what we gather inspiration from” – Ryan Sloan. 

Whether it be a dirty bass line, a funky break, or an intricate sequence of ear piercing pads, leads or synths, the tracks produced are to transform audio into energy felt by everyone on the dance floor.

Working with labels such as  Plasmapool, Ground Level, On A Break, Logariddim, Ridiculoud, Ventuno, Digital Sensation UK and Dead Famous, sees Beatsmack forging a solid position in todays Breaks scene.

Been spinning vinyl for a fair while now and love to play Booty Breaks, Electro, Dubstep ,Ghetto Funk , Hip Hop and if you catch one of my sets you will most definetely hear me scratching.
Come from a musical family and dabble in drums and percussion and a little bit of guitar , so being half Brasilian music is ozing through the veins.
Originally from Sydney moved to Perth for the offshore but my Hobbie slash Passion (music) is starting to become reality.
Started producing less than a year ago and hopefully will have a few projects up on here asap , not to mention a fresh mix and loads of scratching ;)

Carla has been DJing in Perth clubs since 2006 and has made a name for herself bringing the party vibes to any night. Influenced by Funk, Soul, Garage, 2 Step, Deep House, Tech House and Breakbeat her sets are bass heavy with smooth, funky grooves. 

With regular spots over the years at some of Perth's best venues including Geisha, Ambar and Shape Carla knows how to get a dance floor moving. She has also supported international acts such as Ed Solo & Skool of Thought.

Carla is passionate about supporting and promoting female talent in the Perth Dance Music community and is part of the team responsible for the monthly Boudica Sessions nights at The Velvet Lounge.
