G. Mendoza ist in Katalonien geboren und aufgewachsen, bereits im Alter von sechs Jahren studierte er klassische Musik am Berufskonservatorium. Mitte der neunziger Jahre kam er mit der Clubszene in Katalonien, Aragonien und Valencia in Berührung. Er interessierte sich für die aufkommende elektronische Musikszene, die aus den europäischen Clubs Frankreichs und Großbritanniens importiert wurde.
