Venera 4 is a french multifaceted quartet. Their universe combines several sounds between female voices and shrill guitars; sensuality and strenght. 

Two boys, two girls, meeting in noisy pop songs with a delicate sense of colors... and darkness.

Heavily influenced by the late Andy Gill, Daniel Ash, Michael Gira, and of course Kevin Shields. Trying to take the loud, ear crushing sound of Shoegaze and combine it with the darker side of Gothic Rock and Post Punk. Fortunately or unfortunately, these recordings all happen in the back seat of my Prius at lunchtime. Brilliant Beast crafts pop music submerged in heavy doses of shoegaze, punk, and fuzz pop. Drawing from influences from Ride to Rites of Spring, Brilliant Beast's songs are full of angular guitars, washy melodies, droning bass lines and cavernous vocals.
