Esta autocreación sempiterna de lo oracular se manifiesta siempre en tiempo presente, dado que tiempo y espacio en el universo oracular son la mismísima cosa.
El presente es la totalidad de todo lo que existe. Y todo lo que existe, existe ahora, existe en este espacio, existe en esta sala donde el sonido se proyecta…

Pequeño extracto y también de lo que pude capturar en mis días de residencia artística en La Zona (El Marquesado) junto a mis compañerxs y nuestra talentosa amiga Daniela (Guía naturista e investigadora del sudeste bonarense). Fue un día nublado y gris a las afueras de toda población donde se tejió una serie de recorridos ricos en información y descubrimientos en los prehistóricos Acantilados de Mar del Plata. Mientras nuestro entusiasmo se elevaba con la brisa marina, nos topamos con un pequeño grupo de loros barranqueros (Cyanoliseus patagonus), quienes nos dieron señales de alerta por nuestros pasos en las orillas del mar.

Estos encantadores loros, con sus plumajes de colores deslumbrantes, se lanzaron en un frenesí de llamadas y graznidos. Su estridente serenata no dejaba lugar para el aburrimiento. Pero, ahí estaba la razón detrás de su alboroto. Los loros barranqueros, como celosos guardianes, emitían alertas estridentes para proteger a sus crías.

La importancia de estos loros para la vida y la naturaleza biodiversa de Mar del Plata se hizo palpable en ese momento, y que también nos recordó la vital labor que realizan en el equilibrio del ecosistema. Como polinizadores y dispersores de semillas, estos loros contribuyen a la salud y regeneración de la flora local, formando una red esencial en el tejido de la vida marplatense.

Así que, rodeados de risas y graznidos, nuestro día en los Acantilados de Mar del Plata se convirtió en un inolvidable encuentro entre la creatividad humana y la vitalidad aviar. Nos marchamos con corazones llenos de asombro y gratitud por la maravilla de la naturaleza, decididos a preservar y celebrar la rica biodiversidad que hace de Mar del Plata un lugar verdaderamente único entre tanta belleza universal.

Electronic Music producer Hypercube (born Rodrigo Passannanti) debuted in 1996 with a full-length Album (Earobics) on Hypnotic / Cleopatra (US) known for top acts like F.S.O.L., Loop Guru and many more, the album received a substantial level of interest amongst listeners and labels of the time.
Since then Hypercube has been producing and releasing numerous recordings under different names amongst labels such as Blue Room (UK) - Klang Galerie (Austria) - Nova Tek (Germany) - Criminal Records (UK) - SPV (Poland) - Nova Zembla (Belgium) - Ressonus (Czech Republic) - Abstrakt Reflections (Argentina) and most recently on Ephedrina Netlabel (Italy) - Electron Emitter (Lithuania) - Submarine Broadcasting Company (UK) and Paracusia Media (British Columbia) including live gigs and a collaborations in the past with Andy Hughes (former member of the ORB) , top Swedish producer Hakan Lidbo and vocalist Michael Allen (Wolfgang Press - 4AD)

Hypercube universe focuses on experimentation with extensive use of software effect plugins, audio editors and sound processors within the computer environment.

INTERVIEW 

_Who inspired you to make music? I was lucky to grow up in a family with an interest in music as my Father was playing several acoustic instruments for hobby. Among all the instruments (classic guitars, mandolins, violin, flute, ocarina etc) an early Italian keyboard made by Farfisa caught my attention and soon became my very first step into music making, later on (in the early 80’s) my first analog synthesizer (Roland SH09) landed in my room to be followed by the legendary TR 808 drum machine a polyphonic synthesizer (Roland Juno 60) and a tape recorder.  

_Which tracks or artists first got you into music? Early psychedelic and progressive rock music had a strong influence in my music analysis and when Computer World by Kraftwerk was released in 1981 that changed my perspective of music forever and gave me the inspiration to follow this path.

_Who would be the bands that describe the music that you typically create? Morton Subotnick, Autechre, early experimental music in general, everyday urban noises and various state of mind.

_Which famous musicians do you admire? Kraftwerk, Aphex Twin, Pink Floyd and many more / Or if you could go open a show for any artist who would it be? Gabor Lazar

_Who would you most like to collaborate with? Ryūichi Sakamoto , Autechre , David Sylvian, Jon Hassell

_What's next?  Hypercube is finalizing his next release with Cyberspeak Label (Milan) which will includes couple of remixes by high profile IDM producers (can’t mention the names yet 😊, a new album of Hypercube tracks remixed by some great artists will also be released soon on Paracusia Media.

_What are you working on at the moment? I have just mastered Nuanane latest album to be released soon, I’m also finishing a cold wave synth album under my name to be released on Subcontinental Records and putting the basis for a deep space ambient album to be released on my artist page, I have also been involved in several radio shows, compilations tracks and bespoke composition works for the media, there are also plans to collaborate with some visual artists for the creation of a video and re issue of some early 90’s techno/trance albums I was active part of.
