Founded in 2002 in Copenhagen, Denmark, Sublime Exile Recordings proudly serves as the birthplace of SXR MUSIC GROUP, an independent music publisher.

David Hethorn dreams in melody and sculpts ephemeral epiphanies into three-minute acoustic pop songs. He has emerged from the Queensland live music scene as a seasoned songwriter, vocalist, innovative instrument maker and multi-instrumentalist.

David’s performance history includes support slots for luminaries such as The Bamboos and Christopher Brookes.  David is also fresh from a showcase slot at Splash! Macleay Island, headlined by champion Elvis impersonator, Gabe Phoenix. 

David finds himself searching for the human element in an increasingly robotic world and is following his dream of delivering passionate performances to local communities of music lovers.  Turn your hectic day around and slow down while you whistle along to "Perfect When I'm With You".
