Tresor Closing Party 2005

So, you want Techno? Then give "Tresor Techno Core" a listen, or don't, I couldn't care less. Here you've got hard underground Techno, and I don't need to tell you that Tresor's a cornerstone of the Berlin Techno scene. Long before Berghain, ya know?

Bass that'll knock you over, Percussions that'll hypnotize you, and Strobe lights that'll mess with your head. And all those dancing people? They heat the room up so much that sweat drips from the ceiling. And the fog machine that reduces your sight to zero? A veil of the mystical, a dance with the unknown, an invitation to feel the aura of the night in a way words can't capture.

The most famous faces from Tresor are all there. They make music that even the most stubborn Berliner would dance to. Come on, get swept away by the crowd, or don't, it's all the same to me.

This ain't just a playlist; it's an invitation to be part of something big. Or not. Do what you want, but miss this, and you're really missing out, ya hear?

Bässe, die dich umhauen, Percussions, die dich hypnotisieren, und Stroboskoplichter, die dir die Birne verdrehen. Und die vielen tanzenden Menschen? Die machen den Raum so heiß, dass dir der Schweiß von der Decke auf'n Kopp tropft. Und die Nebelmaschine, die deine Sicht auf null reduziert? Ein Schleier des Mystischen, ein Tanz mit dem Unbekannten, eine Einladung, die Aura der Nacht auf eine Weise zu spüren, die Worte nicht fassen können.

Die bekanntesten Gesichter aus'm Tresor sind alle da. Die machen Musik, da tanzt selbst der sturste Berliner zu. Komm, lass dich mitreißen von der Menge, oder lass es bleiben, is' mir auch egal.

Das is' nich einfach 'ne Playlist, das is' 'ne Einladung, Teil von was Großem zu sein. Oder eben nich. Mach, wie du willst, aber verpass das, und du verpasst echt was, wa?

Tresor Techno Core

On the brink of its 20th Anniversary, Tresor Records is proud to launch a new podcast series, which will feature exclusive mixes by club and label residents as well as interviews of carefully selected guests. To open up the festivities, we asked prominent Tresor resident Pacou to let it all lose at once! Here is a 90 minutes preview of what a typical Pacou set sounds like at Tresor. Included on this mix is an exclusive preview of Pacou's new 12" on Tresor Records, the Sense EP. TRESOR 246 will come out on the 17th of October 2011.

shortly after my first gig at Tresor on a wednesday night alongside Doug W N in 1999 I became one of the regulars for their wednesdays Bonito House Club parties.
I played countless gigs there almost exclusively on wednesdays, which taught me a lot about playing much more underground than I usually did. I played two of the 14(?)closing nights one back 2 back with Dixon and the other with Paul van Dyk and then I played the opening night at the new venue alongside Sven Väth.
Tresor always felt like home to me, so enjoy this Tresor session from January 2015...

Steve Rachmad's Sunday night slot as STERAC was so impressive that we rated it as one of the weekend's key performances. As the rain lashed down outside, causing the temporary closure of the outdoor arenas, the place to be was under cover listening to the Dutch master. The dance floor was a heaving throng when the beat kicked back in on James Ruskin's "Work," the high point of a superb set.
