Jane Mays is a singer-songwriter currently living in Oklahoma City. Jane performs mostly originals described as pop-soul; melodic and rhythmic piano, soulful vocal melodies and a Goldilock's rhythm section.  Jane Mays and the Minnie Funk Band, born in 2018, deliver a brew of funkified, soulful-pop in an eclectic set of irresistible songs. Jane Mays fronts a seasoned crew including long time guitar virtuoso Don Juntunen and a formidable pack of veteran players that instantly create a pocket of rock and pop songs that keep you wanting more. Familial voices put forth harmonies and beefy tones. A fat rhythm section (Jeffrey Scott Mays on drums, Stephen Babcock on bass, & Billy Tilman on percussion) and to top it off a raw and cearing saxophone played by Oklahoma City’s own John Johnson.
