Julian Ess is a French DJ and producer who moved to Barcelona at the age of 18, a city he adopted as his home. Although music had been part of his life since childhood, it was there that he fully discovered electronic music and found the path that would lead him to become one of the emerging figures of the Catalan techno scene.

His first steps as a DJ took place in Catalan clubs such as Pacha, Marhes Barcelona and Rachdingue, where he eventually became a resident. The latter, internationally renowned and considered one of the best clubs in Catalonia and Spain, played a decisive role in his artistic growth. Over the years, his name started to resonate beyond the local scene, touring almost every country in Europe and performing at major festivals and clubs such as ADE in Amsterdam, Inox Festival in Paris, Egg London or Le Dieze in Montpellier. Today, in addition to sharing the booth with top international artists, Julian Ess drives his own projects: Substeal Records and, above all, Somnia —an event brand that has become a recognized company within the Spanish scene, constantly growing and consolidating itself as a true temple of techno.

As a producer, Julian Ess has developed his own signature within techno, characterized by powerful rhythms and dark energy aimed at the dance floor. His productions have been supported by internationally renowned artists and have reached the Beatport Top 100 on numerous occasions. With releases on labels such as Bitten, IAMT and Transmit, and collaborations with artists like Mha Iri, he already counts dozens of records published worldwide, establishing himself as a respected producer within the global scene.

Today, Julian Ess is recognized for the strength and connection of his closing sets, which have become his true specialty. With Somnia as a constantly growing project and a new chapter of expansion in his production career, he continues on his path to consolidating his name within the international techno scene. What began as a youthful passion has become a solid trajectory that is only beginning to show its full potential.

KNOW GOOD is the product of two kindred spirits bound by both blood and bass. Cousins Tanner and Sylas Morgan are the latest in a family legacy of musicians, crafting a genre-defying sound that’s as dark and dynamic as it is unexpected. Their music pulses with low frequencies woven through pop, rock, and rap elements. 

Both veterans in their own right, Sylas has spent the past decade DJing nightclubs and bars across the U.S., known for his taste in sample selection and sharp verses, while Tanner brings versatility as a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, mastering over ten instruments.

Since joining forces in 2020, KNOW GOOD has created a fresh sound that’s quickly gaining traction. Their live performances blend the intensity of a DJ set with the richness of live instrumentation, incorporating drums, guitar, violin, and vocals. Set to tour nationally in 2025, KNOW GOOD is making waves with a style that’s as dynamic as it is innovative, captivating listeners and earning spins from the world’s top DJs.
