No accurate depiction of electronic music culture would be complete without special mention of Deborah De Luca. Widely acknowledged as one of the most prominent flag-bearers for Techno globally and a regular fixture inside the world’s most distinguished DJ booths, Deborah has the unique ability to transfix crowds with her electrically charged, technically nuanced sets, fusing hard techno with minimal grooves and melodic soundscapes to absorbing effect. A pioneer in the use of social networks as a promotional tool, whilst somehow managing to retain a strong sense of discretion in her private life, Deborah is unrivalled in her determination and passion, earning every part of her current status as one of the most exciting talents to emerge from the international Techno scene over the past decade.
Born under the shade of the infamous Vele di Scampia – one of the toughest districts in Naples – the now-globally recognised DJ, producer and label head came from humble beginnings, forging her path to international success against unlikely odds. However this was to become her making. “You shouldn’t let anybody tell you what you can or can’t become”, she expounded in a rare interview, referencing her early livelihood as a nightclub dancer. “It’s true, in recent years I have gained popularity, but I am very grateful for the long journey it’s taken”. More than anything else, Deborah’s roots and her unwavering ethic are an integral part of the flourishing artist we see before us today.
Deborah spent the formative years of her musical career in Northern Italy, following a brief stint at fashion school in Modena. Cutting her teeth on the European club circuit, where she quickly realised music was her true calling, Deborah’s hard work and relentless determination eventually began to pay off and in 2013 she launched her very own imprint Sola_mente Records. Created as a platform by which to release her own music, free from creative pressure and external constraints, the label went from strength to strength and in November 2018, Deborah marked a decade-long career in the industry with the critically acclaimed release of her debut album ‘Ten’. A huge milestone for the Italian producer, ‘Ten’ represented an important rite of passage and a body of work that she would cherish indefinitely.

Patrick Van Kerckhoven is considered to be one of the founding father’s of the hardcore sound. He is specifically responsible for initiating the creation of a sub genre of hardcore that became known as “Artcore”.

Inspired by the House Music coming from Chicago and Detroit, he began his musical career at just 15 years old performing at various clubs around Holland. Most of Europe had not yet been exposed to House, let alone any form of Hardcore. Patrick kept pushing the Hardcore sound throughout the 80′s and 90′s, producing hits such as “Mindcontroller”.

In lieu of his DJ and Producing successes, van Kerckhoven started his own record label “Ruffneck Records” in 1993. This label released over 250 tracks including several major hits such as “Ruffneck Rules Da Artcore Scene” which even managed to hit the European music charts at number 8. After a brief stint making Drum and Bass music with his label “Ruff-teck”, van Kerckhoven continued to craft and create new hardcore sounds.

Around 2000 he launched labels “Supreme Intelligence” and “Gangsta Audiovisuals” which concentrated on the newly invented “Darkcore” and “Artcore” styles respectively.

After many ups and downs within the Hardcore scene, he created Enzyme Records in 2001 to make a fresh start. Patrick did all of the work behind the scenes, in order for his roster of artists to grow and gain popularity without having to worry about any of the stigma attached to his earlier projects. Patrick managed to fool the hierarchy of Hardcore and the entire music scene into thinking that he had retired. The truth was that he was busy at work the whole time managing and creating for Enzyme records and it’s many infamous sister labels such as “Enzyme X”.

Currently Patrick runs several of his own record labels that are prominent in various genres like Hardcore, Hardstyle, Industrial and Hard Techno. These musical elements as well as those that cannot be described are all pieces of the unique puzzle that makes up Patrick Van Kerckhoven and his musical vision.

Martijn van Langen aka DJ Baba, widely known for his creative freestyle mix-skills with Oldschool, Hardclassics, Hardstyle and Hardcore sound.

Spider Willem introduced Martijn in the Amsterdam dj scene,
Martijn got his first real gig from him at a Mushroom event at the Hemkade48 as a present for his birthday and in present time,
DJ Baba is resident of the Hard Moon area at the events of Spider Willem: White Moon and Full Moon Festival.

To play in front of an audience, Martijn created events such as Rebirth, Platinum, Trance Nation, and Hard Time. He went on tour in Germany, United Kingdom, Austria, France, Belgium and performed at festivals such as Defqon1, Dance Valley and more.

He became a resident at the legendary Multigroove events, beginning at The Roothaanhuis Amsterdam back in the day and he still is a resident at their events such as No Bullshit, Hellbound, De Samenzwering and Ground Zero Festival.
Multigroove has always been a big influence for him and he is true to the brand and people behind it.

Together with Laurens Wijers, he created the Hardcore Fighters concept, a Hardcore tour for Fightcancer ( KWF ) in the Netherlands.
Col Davison is in the United Kingdom active with this concept for the Children with Cancer Foundation.

Martijn is a dj mentor since 2021, he gives digital and vinyl courses in his studio.

Since 2025 he made a team collab with The Intellectual Killer and B-Savage, together they are Bass Syndicate. Tracks, mash ups and merchandise are available at the social links.
