Alternative rock four piece Steve and the Lion bring a fresh sound and high energy to every performance. The groups original songs cross over genres, blending funky blues and psychedelic rock, with a little dash of surfer chill out grooves just to keep you on your toes.
The exciting combination of two lead vocalists, Stephen Brady and Steve Summers, gives the band an edge, providing fans with two different sounds and writing styles. Covering everything from the soulful blues to the raging Surf rock genres. 
Bass guitarist, Nemani Robertson makes his mark with his fat sound and unique approach to grooves, creating a foundation for the bands style. 
Tyler "Cheese" Fidoe on the drums brings down the house every time he slaps the snare, adding extra robust rock to the band's already gnarly sound, which really sets Steve and the Lion apart from other contemporary rock acts.
Since forming in mid 2014, Steve and the Lion have performed regular gigs around North Queensland, and as well as supporting some big names, the band has developed a passionate and enthusiastic local fan base.
