UBIYU’s 11th digital release brings us the long-awaited Swag Daze EP from UK-based producer Grant Dell. These four tracks, crafted between 2003 and 2006, offer a nostalgic journey through Dell’s signature sound, blending deep grooves with emotive atmospheres.

Two of the tracks, Sarios Groove and Desert Cry, were recorded at Swag Records’ old studio, capturing the raw, organic energy of a bygone era. The remaining tracks were laid down at Dell’s own studio in Croydon, UK, where his distinctive style began to take shape.

A perfect blend of classic and contemporary, Swag Daze EP showcases Grant Dell’s evolution as an artist while paying homage to the past. Expect deep, driving basslines, hypnotic rhythms, and a unique touch of the UK Tech House flavor. Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to Dell’s work, this EP is a must-have for any serious electronic music enthusiast.

This song is the first of a series of songs in honor and reverence of life. It came through to me in music first, and then in Spanish words. This life is so precious. Each moment a gift. My teachers are all around - the colors, the flavors, the trees and flowers. This song a deep bow to the beauty and miracle of ordinary life surrounding me.

A Medicine Wheel is an instrument of understanding and navigating the cycles of time. Within the Wheel is a representation of the interconnectedness of humans and nature; the microcosm and macrocosm, as cycles and spirals of energy through time. It is a physical embodiment of our spiritual energy; an outward expression of our internal relationship with the Spirit of  all existence.
