Nicholas Rey, known professionally as NICKLOVESBASS, was raised in a challenging environment, experiencing a strained relationship with his father and the loss of his mother at the age of 15. Despite these hardships, his mother's love for music and theater shaped his passion for the arts. By five years old, Nick discovered his love for singing and began studying percussion, which led him to pursue a degree in the Science of Sound from The Art Institute of Inland Empire. A versatile audio professional, Nick has worked across genres such as Rap, Hip Hop, R&B, Rock, EDM, and Experimental music. He has previously been signed as an artist and is now a sought-after freelance mixing engineer. Additionally, Nick led two music groups, BMP (BangMusic Productions) and MDM (Million Dollar Moves), where he played both artistic and production roles.
