I am a podcaster, blogger, social media wonk, early adopter, and entrepreneur.

I am the founder of Whitaker Media, a marketing and PR firm specializing in real time communications for small businesses.

I am a product on New York State, a Northeastern and Harvard Extension Alum, and I consume way too much coffee.

When I am not looking to the future, I am spending time with my wife and daughter, plotting my next coffee run, and dreaming of DJing a mega-club.

Lead Singer/promoter, booker, webmaster for the bands SoulSistahMel and The Melanie Carney Duo.  We are a Blues/Soul/R&B cover band heavily influenced by Blues Divas like Susan Tedeschi, Bonnie Raitt,  Etta James and Koko Taylor, plus great old blues by Junior Wells, Robert Johnson and much more. Classic Soul/R&B by Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, The O-Jays and more, as well as great Neo-Soul Artists like Adele, Joss Stone, Amy Winehouse and Duffy. 

We also do great classic rock by Zeppelin, Cream, War, Black Crowes, Robert Palmer, Free and others.   

Basically we get you movin and groovin!
