I just celebrated my 16th birthday, for the 40th time!

I started playing guitar at age 7 when my parents bought me a guitar for $12.00 from my neighbor, Joel Dodd. I saw a Jimi Hendrix video and started to dress like the Beatles and act like Jimi. I left home at 18 and ventured around the USA. I ended up at a music school in Hollywood, CA, called Musician's Institute (G.I.T.) in 1983. After 4 years of hanging out, penniless, homeless, and beaten down I moved back to home in CT where I was a big fish in a small pond playing Metallica & Slayer. I wrote a few songs during the 90's but life in general was work, partying, and raising a 5 child family. 
I started writing and recording this album with Colin Bell on drums literally the moment my father died. My fingers were on the play & record buttons about to record the first sounds for our first song when my mother called me telling me my father had just passed on. " A Nightmare Is Still A Dream" is that song.

Colin and I are still in the process of creating new music, guided by ?? ??? & ? so we never know what is coming for sound until it gets here. We're just as surprised as everyone when we hear what comes back at us from the recorder. The music seems to just flow out of our heads & hands to our instruments instantly. Most of the takes are just one take with the mistakes included. Sometimes we start with a title and I hear the lyrics as we're arranging the parts, magical intervention, IMO! 
Raw, angry and mixed aggressively, my music is meant to "comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable."
