Haitian American and Brooklyn based rapper Paul Juste better knows as Polo Paul has been foraging a path in the rap industry that will easily substantiate those claims. Already with an extensive music catalog on his résumé, Polo has establish himself as an artist exceptionally well displaying a versatile range of musical styles and rapping ability. 

Polo Paul, born as Paul Juste, was born on Christmas Day to his late mother, Florence Juste in New York City, and has become a gift in many ways. Polo possesses an advanced nature of lyrical content kand performance skills. Relocating in various places around the East coast, from his home town of Brooklyn, NYC to Montgomery County Maryland, he developed a natural love for music at the age of 11. While attending SUNY College at Old Westbury, he couldn't help but create an outlet for himself to release his great work and notify the public of his story. 

Releasing the mixtape “Summer In The 90’s” back in August of 2018, Polo Paul returns with the newest iteration of the series,“Summer In The 90’s 2”, approaching it as full length album this time around. Further delving into a more refined style, the 11 track listed album contains a nostalgic feel of the original mixtape yet Polo divulges much further into the musical realm, covering a lot more ground and bases, by testing the waters in different sub genres on this album. With the leading single, “Pitkin” produced by Bvndo, it’s  Polo’s biggest record of 2023 which is extremely fitting since the song is an ode to Polo’s birthplace Brooklyn, New York,  encapsulating the current sound of the city, a dance song giving women and kids a chance to make another viral dance, and the fellas a song they can bop to.  Polo followed that up with the single and intro to the album, “Old Hoes Pack”, 1 of the 4 produced songs on the album by Fckbwoy, Polo released a video of the song in collaboration with Block Work, with an extensive rap performance throughout, Paul ends the track leaning into his toxicity proclaiming to be smoking on all the old women from his past. The third single, “Cash Loan”, another production by Fckbwoy, is probably Polo’s most befitting title to a song he’s ever put out because exactly like a cash loan you could bank on Polo. And that’s precisely the picture Paul paints with this track, letting everyone know that he’s more than paid his dues in the rap game and it’s time people start putting their money and bank on his consistency and undeniable work ethic and talent.  The record” All That” produced by FckBwoy as well,  features fellow New York artist Phantom, and the two hailing NY emcees compliment one so well like a dynamic duo. Both boasting how they both have become “All that” in the rap space through different walks of life while loosely playing off the late 90’s show with bars like “ And I hold that nick at night these b—— think I’m all that“ and “We smoke  the nick at night she don’t smoke but still think I’m all that” flex their natural abilities and making fun yet meaningful records. Such a song so triumphant as Polo Paul’s “Game Day”, could seemingly fit on an NBA 2K or EA Madden soundtrack. Arguably his most motivational and energizing song to date, Polo taps into psyche of those hungry to achieve something greater than themselves There’s an array of music for everyone on this project, melodic songs, hard hitting raps and metaphors, New York drill, chopped & screwed, dance hall, you name it. If the fans would say Polo found his sound on the Summer In The 90’s mixtape, than “Summer In The 90’s 2” is were he absolutely mastered it. Showcasing his range foraging into different pockets, flows, and cadences and showcasing his reach in his rap and music period with the high level production and artist featured. Even planning a deluxe album in the not too distant future, Polo his pushing his craft to the absolute limit for himself and you the listener.
