Welcome, Missinsomniacs and Runners. We're running towards ourselves and face our fears, sadness and heartbreak through every song we put together. Hope you like your stay. 

Runaway Darling* is a project with 6 members, created and started by the Bulgarian poetess and graphic designer A. Hait / А. Хайт. 

Lore:

She then found valuable people (we are all friends, even from afar, as we're all scattered across Europe). The name 'Runaway Darling' came one random day as a long-awaited idea. She had about 20+ band name ideas, as each one her mind rejected almost immediately. But then... On September 25th, 2024, was when a meeting with someone special to her to this day took place - a real person from A. Hait's life: someone she loved, and someone who quite literally ran away and left her hanging in the air. It at least seems that this person didn't care whether Hait would fly or fall with this world-shattering decision. But, something precious to all of us was born. In a few weeks we had not only a name: we had a logo, some lyrics, a pinch of talent (Hait never stops thanking us for finding us, as we are thankful for finding her). Now, back to the 'runaway darling' who started it all: Maybe the love was too much. Maybe it was Ms. Hait's addiction and/or dependance towards this person. Well... the most beautiful things come from a sad, broken and lonesome heart. At least this is what we believe as a band, and as a community.

"Runaway Darling is a project of mine which I shared with my colleagues and friends. Our lead vocalist: Kier O' Riley (who goes by the alias 'Brighty Angelic'), our bassist: Avon Deja, our drummer: Stanislav "Stas" Morray, and our newest members, who we found along the way in order to be able to record our second album and the 'Paying For Sins With Music' EP: Mr. Strixx (scream vocals, rhythm guitar/solo guitar, featuring vocals) and Josephine "Jay" Sewitski (aka Schizo - scream vocals, synth, featuring vocals). You can tell, that most of these names lead to nothing when looked up. And that's the whole point: we want to remain anonymous. We're not doing this to 'be in the spotlight'. We're doing this for you to have a shoulder to cry on, a friend (not a guide). We wouldn't even be here without the love you showed us on Tiktok, right?"

"As of now, all official albums will be free to listen to, download, etc. when the first one is reuploaded and all the others are added on here. I have always wanted to share my art with the world - and if I help at least one soul feel better, not to cry and to know that it won't always be like this, that's a job well done for me. All rights reserved (the songs used to be just poems in Bulgarian, written on whatever Ms. Hait had handy - a phone, a piece of paper or a notebook, and then translated into English by her), but that doesn't mean we believe in monetizing beautiful things. Runaway Darling is here to stay. Whoever wants to help create something beautiful, they are free to support us in the near future, when and if remastested acoustic versions are available for purchase. That won't happen in the near future, though."
