House music lover, Living in Miami, Born In Lillehammer, Norway raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Velafjord -Dan Ruiz- Started his Electronic music passion at Fabric, London UK and Ibiza at Pacha in 2003 arriving straight from London at 1 Am (backpacking) .He lived in Birmingham/London, England for a year and moved to Miami right after. In south Florida Club Space was his sunny paradise.... 10 years later .... He returned to Ibiza with his Family and a new world of Electronic MUSIC started with his Soulmate Sandra Rodriguez.
Today influenced by Solomun,Adriatique,Lee Burridge, Chad Randall mixing heavy with cosy beats. Now He runs a Burningman Camp called MIki Beach and MIkimau Burningman art and Music. 

“Don’t talk genres…Talk MUSIC!!!”
This is the main philosophy that drives Max Sebastien in his sets. As he started his musical career in the mid 90’s he was always involved in different styles of the Rave scene. Thats why, in his record collection, it is possible to find any aspect of electronic music from Hardcore to House. Max Sebastien is never afraid to dig into styles that have influenced him during his career. For many years he was deep into Trance which he tried to blend with Hard Techno.

In 2000 was the start of many residences in various clubs in Slovenia, but he also had the opportunity to play in Italy, Croatia and Spain. Between 2000 and 2009 he was also a resident DJ in one of the biggest european entertainment centres where he had the opportunity to play for a different crowd and dig more into House and everything from 80s and 90s. Moving to Tech House felt like a natural next step.

Since his first experience in Ibiza in 2012 he started exploring the sounds of Deep House. This is the reason why you can expect to hear his sets to start with one style and finish with something else. After all, music is a journey and we don’t need barriers to divide us. After the first season in Ibiza, he became one of the resident D.J.’s in the San Antonio scene.

During all this time Max Sebastien was involved in producing different kinds of music as he was running a professional recording studio. Member of couple bands as a keyboard player and producer, in 2014 he produced an album for a Slovenian Rap artist and delivered some remixes for international deep house and techno producers. In 2015 he became one of the Slovenian top 5 finalists for the Burn Residency Competition and later chosen from Ibiza Sonica Radio for the People’s choice opportunity.  2015 was also the year of his first official remix on Beatport and the start of his EP, which will be ready for the end of 2018.

“Afri-Cali,” a hearty cioppino of rock, blues, heavy rhythms and percussion of 1970s South African music, Drenched in Hip hop Roots topped with coastal-psych seasoning..

I'm not proposing we bin the likes of Slade and Wizard; Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without them, but they've been about for 40 yrs!
