Which is a credit to his father who has impacted him tremendously. Listening to his father play the piano would bring him joy and led to him being enrolled in piano lessons at age 5. It was Kai’s sister, Jocelyn Bowman, who introduced him to secular music. She would take him on car rides where he would fall in love with R&B tunes that would stick with him throughout his adolescence.
