Open 365 days a year! Inside Deep South it's all about being an old-school bar and music joint.  The walls of Deep South are covered in red wall with music memorabilia and lyric grafitti. Also has a small pool room out front and a handful of booths lining the place. 
There's pinball and some other arcade games - even Frogger! This is a fun place to bring a great group of friends.

Directions from North Raleigh 1. Take the Inner Beltline/I-440 E 2. Merge onto I-440 E 1.8 mi 3. Take exit 11 for Capital Blvd/US-401 S 0.3 mi 4. Follow signs for Capital Blvd and merge onto Capital Blvd/US-401 S 5. Continue to follow US-401 S for 3.8 mi or 7 mins 6. Stop at 430 S Dawson St., Raleigh.

Artists/Musician Info: Deep South is an artist-friendly venue. We have professional sound, great stage, a talented sound-man, and a friendly bar staff. We have been a record label and artist management firm since 1995, so we appreciate all artists who have chosen to perform at our venue. That said, we are a small venue, only about 125 capacity, and as a result we view a successful night one in which 100 people or more attend the show. Although we do email marketing and print advertising on our part, it is ultimately the responsibility of the artist to make the night successful. (100 people. It’s not as easy as it may seem.)
