Precise Kenny Creole is an unsigned hip-hop artist hailing from Ottawa, Canada who is winning over fans everywhere he performs by blending compelling instrumentals with witty and intelligent lyrical content. His music ranges from fun and lighthearted to dark, reflective and heavy. What connects these diverse songs is a common sense of honesty and relatability. Precise prides himself on putting on high-energy live performances centered on crowd engagement. At each show, he works to ensure every audience member leaves an enthusiastic fan. 

Precise has gravitated towards music his entire life. At a young age he began writing poetry purely as a form of expression; however, the growing influence of hip-hop in Precise’s life saw his love of poetry transform into a passion and talent for writing rhymes. A quiet kid, Precise rarely shared his lyrics, content instead with observing, learning and beatboxing while his friends would rap. Precise shocked and impressed his peers when he finally shared his rhymes. Though the pursuit of a college degree briefly took him away from Ottawa, his love of writing sharp and innovative rhymes only grew.

This passion was taken to the next level when, years later, Precise began demonstrating natural abilities in the recording studio. In 2009, Precise teamed up with Ottawa artist Wal’dough and Ottawa artist/producer Rexx of Rexx Productions with a plan to record a single track. What started as a single track led to the creation of an entire album titled Leaders of the Blind Generation. The album combines Rexx's knocking hip-hop instrumentals with the trio’s hard-hitting lyrics under the group name Truhalf. In addition to his continued collaboration with Rexx and Wal’dough, Precise has worked on the production side of a number of projects including, but not limited to, the creation of a mixtape for PYP Clothing Company and is working as an Executive Producer for the soundtrack of a film titled Gnomercy. 

Precise’s newest musical adventure is as the emcee in the band BlakDenim. The band combines hip-hop with live instrumentation in a vibe that is simultaneously funky, heavy, fun and soulful. The band’s roster includes a number of instruments not often found in hip hop acts including the flute, cello, tuba and trumpet, each performed by musicians with impressive resumes of their own. Currently, Precise Kenny Creole and BlakDenim have been selected to compete in The Big Money Shot hosted by Ottawa radio station LiVE 88.5 FM.
