The Tea Cup Diaries is a radio drama which holds a mirror to modern Myanmar. It bring us characters from across the country who meet to share the simple ritual of tea drinking amidst the ups and downs of daily life.

Broadcast weekly, from May 15th on Myanma Radio the series will entertain Myanmar audiences with insights into life in a busy Yangon teashop.  Aimed at increasing understanding and tolerance between the diverse ethnic and religious communities, the series will bring us face to face with characters from different backgrounds in a funny, realistic, sound-rich, warm hearted story.  

The Tea Cup Diaries radio drama is produced by BBC Media Action and funded by USAID.  

လက္ဖက္ရည္တစ္ခြက္ရဲ့ ဒိုင္ယာရီ ေရဒီယိုဇာတ္လမ္းသည္ ဘ၀၏ ေန႔စဥ္ အတက္အက်မ်ားၾကား လက္ဖက္ရည္ေသာက္သည့္ ဓေလ့အားမွ်ေ၀ၾကသည့္ မ်က္ေမွာက္ျမန္မာနိုင္ငံကို ေၾကးမံုထင္ဟပ္သည့္ ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံအႏွံ႔မွ ဇာတ္ေကာင္မ်ား၏ ဘ၀ခရီးစဥ္ကို ေခၚေဆာင္သြားမည္ျဖစ္သည္။ 

ျမန္မာ့အသံတြင္ ေမလ ၁၅ ရက္၊ ၂၀၁၅ မွစ၍ထုတ္လႊင့္မည့္ ေရဒီယိုဇာတ္လမ္းတြဲသည္ အလုပ္မ်ားလွေသာ ရန္ကုန္မွ လက္ဖက္ရည္ဆိုင္တြင္းျဖစ္ရပ္မ်ားျဖင့္ ေဖ်ာ္ေျဖမည္ျဖစ္ပါသည္။ တိုင္းရင္းသား၊ ဘာသာမ်ားၾကားနားလည္မႈတိုးလာေစရန္ ရည္ရြယ္ေသာ ရင္ကိုေႏြးေထြးေစမည့္ လက္ေတြ႔ဆန္ေသာ၊ ဟာသရသပါ၀င္ေသာ အသံစုံမ်ားျဖင့္ ေပါင္းဖြဲ႔ထားေသာ ဇာတ္လမ္းတြဲမွာ မတူညီေသာ ေနာက္ခံဘ၀မွလာသည့္ ဇာတ္ေကာင္မ်ားျဖင့္ ဇာတ္လမ္းဖြဲ႔သီထားသည္။ 

လက္ဖက္ရည္တစ္ခြက္ရဲ့ ဒိုင္ယာရီ ေရဒီယိုဇာတ္လမ္းကို BBC Media Action မွ ထုတ္လုပ္ျပီး ရံပံုေငြေထာက္ပံ့မႈကေတာ့ အေမရိကန္ အျပည္ျပည္ဆိုင္ရာဖြံ႔ျဖိဳးေရး ေအဂ်င္စီ USAID  ကပဲျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
