Critically-acclaimed Dutch act Weval (AKA Harm Coolen and Merijn Scholte Albers) arrive on Ninja Tune’s Technicolour imprint with their new EP Changed For The Better. The duo hail from Amsterdam, where they have been cultivating a unique sound that balances high energy electronic funk and emotive synth arrangements with bold, beautifully composed melodies and songwriting. The duo recently embarked on a mission to rediscover themselves and what truly drives them, in a process of liberation from self-imposed constraints. Their creative process was reinvigorated with an uninhibited approach and Changed For The Better represents Weval unfiltered, accepting themselves for who they truly are. It’s sincere and heartfelt and unashamedly positive.

After his recent releases on Get Physical and KMS, you would think that Chris Honorat is a newcomer, but not at all ...

Pioneer of the French electronic music scene, he made ​​his debut on Radio FG in late 1992 under the name of The Exorcist, then Chaotik Ramses. He has run for more than two years the friday evening show on this station, and supports in their cars the first generation of Ravers ...

Meanwhile he worked at USA Imports, the parisian record shop owned by Laurent Garnier, with whom he continues to collaborate by signing in 1995 on F Communications.

Thereafter Chris Honorat multiplies collaborations and released many EPs on the best French techno labels (Euterpe, Dancefloor Killer, Kobayashi, Calme, A-Traction ...), well as Techno compilations of major events in which he participates as a DJ.

After seven years as resident DJ at the Rex Club and lots of parties in France and Europe, he moved to Tahiti, worked with local artists, played in New Zealand and New Caledonia.

Back in France last year, Chris Honorat now performs under his real name, a symbol of musical maturity gained over years and journeys.

He has remixed many artists this year, and prepares new EPs ... Waiting to listen to his new productions, you can meet him behind the decks!

Born in Ajaccio(Corsica) in 1972 period which has me fast marked by its disco tendency, soul, jazz and funk. DJ live in the 1990s until today, in the Weekend club ( 1992 ), and more exactly in Blue Moon,Mythical club the 80s for its underground music and the hot atmosphere which reigne it the summer in the gulf of Ajaccio. Very fast in 1987, in the age of 15 years I meet my life (DJ mister P) in Blue Moon and discover grace to him all the story of the Black music. This meeting allowed me to discover a true passion for this profession and especially for the vinyl which I collect since. Of soul in the house I use this inheritance today in my compositions of electronic musics since 1997. Founder of the group " Aria Nova " ( contact@monteramusic.com ) in 2003, and taken out of the "pop" title (in coproduction with LAVAGGIPROD, www.myspace.com / lavaggi) in 2005 on the compilation ELECTRONIC SUMMER IN CORSICA N°2. Year 2008 is marked by the release of my first album " ABSOLUTE TIME ". 
I makes coproductions in 2010 by the release of my electro house as "MY BUTTERFLY " feat JANY THOMAS and in 2011 the title " I don't know why" feat paul -dominique vacharasinthu .
In 2013 , the new draft new age " Natura è Acqua " is created specially produced for recreation and relaxation in the spa.

Né à Ajaccio (Corsica) en 1972 période qui m'a rapidement marquée par sa tendance disco, soul, jazz et funk. DJ dans les années 1990 jusqu'à aujourd'hui, au Week-end club en (1992), et plus exactement au Blue Moon, club mythique des années 80 pour sa musique underground et l'ambiance torride qui reigne  l'été dans le golfe d'Ajaccio. Très rapidement en 1987, à l'âge de 15 ans  je fais la rencontre de ma vie (DJ Mister P) au Blue Moon et découvre grâce à lui toute l'histoire de la musique noire. Cette rencontre m'a permis de découvrir une véritable passion pour ce métier et surtout pour le vinyle que je collectionne depuis. De la soul à la house music, j'utilise cet héritage  aujourd'hui dans mes compositions de musiques électroniques depuis 1997. Fondateur du groupe "Aria Nova en 2003,cette experience me mène à la sortie du titre "pop" (en coproduction avec LAVAGGIPROD) en 2005 sur la compilation ELECTRONIC SUMMER IN CORSICA N°2.
l'Année 2008 est marquée par la sortie de mon premier album "ABSOLUTE TIME".J'enchaine les coproductions en 2010  par la sortie de mon titre electro house "MY BUTTERFLY" feat JANY THOMAS et en 2011 le titre "i don't know why" feat paul-dominique vacharasinthu.
