this song was inspired by boleros from the 70s by puerto rican salsa artists, specifically ralfi pagan and hector lavoe. i wrote, recorded, and produced everything myself in one day in only a few hours with improvised lyrics for the verses and a chorus that came out of thin air while making the instrumental. i love how popular latin music and latino artists have been recently, (ex peso pluma, rosalia) and although its not my primary sound, i hope the influence from my life cuts through.
