This album is a chance collection of songs from 2013 - present.
 It is an ode to and reflection on, friendship.

For friends separated and connected by time and space. For friends lost to distance, addiction, homelessness, death.  For cosmic friends, spiritual friends, angels and guides.
For friends we’ve never met. For friends in everyday things.
For friends in the world beyond…
Friends of isolation, friends of belonging.
Friends with the best and worst parts,  of ourselves and each other…

Coming and going,
We dance into and out of each others arms. All in the same ship…

Come, Weavers of story, art and song
let us gather together, for the time has come
to weave a new vision for those yet to come
for we are the ancestors of our great grand daughters and sons.

Bring your voice, your hands, your heart, your drum
whatever it is that you make your art from

for if we don’t, we may well choke
on all the words we never spoke
On all the books we never wrote
and the fires within our hearts we let turn to smoke..

For a hope, a dream
channelled through a brush stroke, song or a seam
can be the spark that lights the dark we find ourselves in
Art is and has always been a way for spirit to be seen.

We need your fire so that the Phoenix of mankind can rise
above the distractions, the hatred and the lies

We each bring our own threads
to the web
and we all play our part
do we light a spark, or stay in the dark?

So, come
way showers
weavers of spirit in form
let us sit around this fire together once more

For the pain as well as the beauty you feel when you look at the world yes, it is real

English translation :
Little parrot, don’t eat from this farm anymore,
It belongs to my sister
We were born of the same mother
and, even though she left me in a dangerous place,
she is my elder sister. She was looking for the road to the city,
and at the same time, I came loose from the tree that held me.

Mother, you requested that when you died
I should plant a kola tree at the head of your grave,
and plant a calabash at its foot,
and that if I followed the direction in which it grew
I would find my sister.
I’ve seen her, I’m happy,
she gave me a little sitompete
and when I swallowed it I felt my vocal cords jump.
Mother, my problems are over.

I climbed up to pick a fruit
and I said: "This is the first..."

I hadn’t even reached number six 
when the owner appeared
throwing an ichóchono at me. I threw a spear at him.
The ichóchono didn’t hut me but my spear hurt him.

The birds are sleeping and the animals too.
Everything is sleeping except for you.

Little darling, don’t cry anymore. 
Your mother is going to bring
a delicious vegetable casserole 
with the best ingredients
and the little boy in the hut 
will bring you a little dream.

Don’t fall asleep when you’re feeling
angry or resentful. I love you.
