As a dancer with legendary Boston-based dance crew, The Circle Children and his own circle, Sweat & Tears, SavSoul discovered 25 years ago that music is the answer. His natural talent as a dancer has been recognized and celebrated through performances across the Northeast, showcase awards and, currently, as a dance instructor. He not only tries to teach those who attend his workshops "moves," but encourages them to allow the pleasure of moving their minds along with their bodies. In further commitment to his passion for music and dance, DJ SavSoul (a/k/a Sammy) has taken his love and belief in the power of music from the dancefloor into a DJ booth. For over 15 years, SavSoul has DJ'ed as a guest at parties in Boston, Brooklyn and Coney Island. He is the co-founder and resident DJ of Release Your Dance and the founder and resident of Volume, both Boston-based dance party. His sets are electrifying and powerful moving people into abandonment and free expression. As a DJ and Dancer, his programming is geared toward celebrating dance through the sounds of positive, uplifting and inspiring House music. He will make you sweat!!

Release your Dance.  Three words with many different meanings.  RELEASE is a House Music party whose intent is to be the place where you do as its tagline encourages, Release your Dance.  If you're not a dancer, Release still invites you to loosen up from your workweek's tension, celebrate a life milestone or be with friends and family in an environment of joy, music, expression and acceptance.  Resident DJ's Savuth Sammy, Christopher Martin Grant "MOTH", Liza Zayas "Luna del Flor" and guests provide a diverse Dance soundtrack from 9:30 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. every Second and Fourth Thursday of the Month at the Middle East Corner, 480 Mass Ave, Cambridge, MA, right off the Red Line Central Square T Stop.  This is an 18+ event!  

RELEASE is a community for artists, dancers, singers, drinkers, wallflowers, off-the-street curiosity indulgers and those who wish to, with us, Release their Being in our shared moment of Freedom.
