Kapote aka Mathias Modica runs  Toy Tonics and Kryptox records with two friends in Germany. Besides finding and producing artists for the label, he also publishes an graphic magazin, designed t shirts and is a keyboarder and producer. He released music under the names Kapote and Munk (on his former label Gomma records). Before releasing dance oriented music on Toy Tonics he  used to produced records with artists such as Peaches, James Murphy, WhoMadeWho, The Rammellzee a.o.on the now sleeping Gomma label. Creativity and personality are the main caracteristics of this brazilian duo formed by Marcelo Abreu and Diogo Vaille. After a long history in brazilian electronic music scene, these two guys got together and already put their first tracks made as Bruce Leroys project on one of the most vital deep-house labels at the moment, the OFF Recordings. Now, they are already being charted and supported by artists like Joyce Muniz, Doctor Dru, Tiger Stripes, Jay Lumen and many others, and their unique fusion of Deep, Disco, Funk, Techno, Hip-Hop, and Garage keeps making more and more fans all over the world.

"Without trying to flatter SlothBoogie, but flattering them, we really enjoyed Philippa’s release. It’s one of the best EPs of the year so far. The Tiptoes’ track fits perfectly alongside the classic “The Curse”. SlothBoogie consistently delivers music of excellent quality across different dimensions.

In this set, we’ve mixed in previously released tracks from our label AUREUM and two unreleased tracks. “Acaju” and “Maravilha Marginal” are the next two EPs from our label, and we have a lot of belief in these tracks. We included the Art of Tones version for our first release on the Aureum label. Also featured in this mixtape is our collaboration with our favourite band, Azymuth, and the remix by Felipe Gordon for our partnership with Bernardo Campo.

The hours are filled with every wobbly brassy banging sound I felt like playing and the people seemed to enjoy it. I Put in some freestyle, Disco, various house tunes, synthwave and of course some lovely zouky tunes.

Apologies for the bouncing needle somewhere in the middle but someone was dancing his ass off which landed right against the booth

Taking over a packed dancefloor from Marcia, Alena brought it! Mixing stone-cold classics with those super rare cuts, whilst keeping the energy high was a joy to witness. Special Touch, Doug Shorts, WAR, Mighty Peacemakers, Billy Lamont, Roy Ayers all sounded so so heavy but Imagination by BB&Q Band blew us away!

Izzy moved to the capital city of Scotland in his early teens and fell in to the clubbing scene head first. After a short time he gained his residency at the mighty Musika/Nightvision supporting the likes of Kink , Neville Watson , Bicep , Ame to name a few as well as running his own night Souloco with close friends booking DJ’s like Fred k , Ejeca , Subb-an , Burnski . Jay shepherd but after ten years or so it was time for something new and he took off for a new life and new challenge in Berlin where he has been residing for the best part of 7 years. Spending his time collecting records and sculpting his sound which ranges from  house, disco, Italo & in to the deeper balearic sounds, he also has a passion for afro disco and downtempo experimental music which he plays regular in one of Berlins best listening venues D59B as well as playing across many of the venues Berlin has to offer. In the summer seasons he can be found playing pool side or in Feddies at pikes in ibiza where he has become a regular
