'Don't You Wanna Be Mine?' is released on limited 7" vinyl and available to download and is the first brand new material since the release of the bands debut album ‘Out of View’ earlier this year. The vinyl release comes backed with an exclusive remix of the track by London producer DREAMTRAK.

Formed just over two years ago, The History Of Apple Pie are centered around the songwriting partnership of Stephanie Min (Vocals) and Jerome Watson (Guitar) together with Kelly Owens (Bass), James Thomas (Drums) and Aslam Ghauri (Guitar). They’re currently in the studio putting the finishing touches to their eagerly awaited second album which is due for release next year.
 
The London five – piece, who spent a successful Summer playing festivals both here and across Europe, will set off to the States for the first time next month to play the CMJ Festival in New York between 15-19 October.

Leon Dufficy is primarily known as the guitarist in Sub Pop’s dreamy Still Corners and Ecstatic Peace’s hippie-jam outfit Hush Arbors, fronted by Keith Wood (Chelsea Light Moving).

Heavy Eyes is his second outing under the name Winter Drones. It was recorded in an insomniac haze that Dufficy has been living with since childhood. Half awake guitar lines combined with fuzzed-out ambient drift, shoegaze swirl and propulsive pop sensibilities. Once again he has brought in his trusted music companions Alannah Ashworth and Luke Jarvis to help round out the album.

Heavy Eyes following 2011’s excellent Blood in the Coffin which came via Weird Forest (Noveller, Grouper) Dufficy stands out as a modern artist because of his ability to develop his soundscapes, infusing them with a touch of melody to impart a sense of emotion.

Marshall Tellers presents their first label sampler, entitled Broken Record Vol. 1. The compilation gathers weird and wonderful tracks from their roster, past present and future. The name referencing back to the last episode of their beloved cult TV show Eerie Indiana, from where Marshall Teller Records was spun. 

The sampler contains 12 exclusive unreleased tracks, including The History Of Apple Pie, featuring Gary Jarman of the Cribs, Cheatahs re work Geographic (National) from their recent debut, The Vaccines are morphed by Tom Furse from The Horrors, Great Ytene cover a classic Orange Juice track and Potty Mouth are live from New York’s Glasslands. The record also has new music from Echo Lake, Dignan Porch, Winter Drones, Warm Brains, Parlour and Grass House. All will be featured on limited edition vinyl accompanied with a download code including some further unreleased tracks from label favourites Not Cool, MT supergroup Ghost Waltz ( members from Grass House, Winter Drones and Great Ytene) and Parakeet.
