Born in Philadelphia, raised in LA and currently based in Brooklyn, club vanguard DJ Swisha is making some of the most exciting and vital dance music today. DJ Swisha’s debut Fool’s Gold EP Nothing But Net shoots even higher as the purest distillation of his polyglot, polyrhythmic ethos to date: five dancefloor-first tracks including the relentless thump of “Methods” and “Fake Molly,” the hypnotic loops of the title track and “Reconstructed Club,” and even a vocal assist from fellow Philly icon Bahamadia on drum machine workout “Crypto.”
