The award winning Vinyl Touch is one of London’s longest-running and most prolific multi genre dance events. 

Launched in 1999, within a few years The Vinyl Touch parties had moved from a small north London bar to a huge five-arena venue with over 30 artists performing at each event. 

The Vinyl Touch have hosted events at some of the countries most iconic venues including Ministry of Sound, SeOne Complex, KOKO, Electrowerkz, Rhythm Factory, Colloseum, Bagley's (Canvas) and have hosted arenas for some of the countries biggest promotions including Raindance, Moondance, Breakin Science, Epidemik, Best of British, Coalition Festival and the SC Festival in Poland alongside one of Eastern Europe's most highly respected events Nu-Breaks Experience.

With a forward thinking cutting edge music policy and a roving eye for emerging talent, The Vinyl Touch was one of the first promotions to book some of the dance scene’s most successful artists.

Faydz and Twista are without doubt, two of the leading names in today’s UK Rave scene. With decades of experience between them, playing at the biggest Dance music events in the UK and abroad, these boys know how to rock a party! 

Throughout their careers they have many individual accolades, but highlights include tracks & remix work featured on Gold selling Ministry Of Sound Helter Skelter albums series, winning awards for best producer, best new label & best album at the nu-rave.com awards, guest DJ mixes and interviews on mainstream radio shows from the likes of Kutski on BBC Radio 1, Jay Cunning on Kiss 100 and Ministry of Sound Radio, their own chart topping 'Back To The Future' compilation album and ‘Future Rave Anthems’ albums on Slipmatt & Billy ‘Daniel’ Bunter’s Can You Feel It Media label, playing the midnight set at London's biggest old skool party 5 years on the trot, playing the main stage at Slammin Vinyl's West Fest and countless other festivals, plus hosting arenas at events where they played no less than massive 7 hour sets back to back.

Both were already smashing events individually with their unique styles during the 90s and 00s, before the legendary DJ/producer and ’Hardcore Til I Die’ promoter Hixxy, decided to pair them up to play back to back in the Old Skool arena at the huge 'Digital Circus' event at the Club Ice Complex in Westbury, Wiltshire back in July 2006. From opposite sides of the country Faydz (Swindon) and Twista (London) had never met before, let alone mixed together, but there was a chemistry between them straight away, their styles combining beautifully and they absolutely tore the dance floor to pieces that night (with one of their now legendary ‘Rave Mash Up’ sets) mixing and scratching up the very best in Old Skool anthems alongside the fresh sounds of Nu-Rave (90’s sounding Hardcore and Jungle music with modern production techniques) that they were both fully supporting at the time (and still do to this day) After the success of that first set, rave promoters started to book them together in their own Old Skool Mash Up arenas at events across the UK and abroad including Hardcore Til I Die, Slammin Vinyl, Uproar, Helter Skelter, Fantazia, Raindance, Innovation, Moondance, Raindance, Epidemik and Raver Baby. 

As well as their abilities on the decks, Faydz & Twista also bring there unique production skills into their sets by their much loved vip mash ups of tracks and rave infused 140bpm bass music. Twista has also been signed to the uber cool Sub Slayers imprint run by the legendary 140bpm bass music boundary pusher Jay Cunning.

Now in to their 7th year of partnership, they have built a combined internet following of nearly 15,000 fans and in the last few years alone have had over 70,000 hits on there podcast mixes / live set recordings as well as over half a million combined hits on there youtube channels and they continue to entertain stages across the globe with bookings seeing them play Mash ups of varied styles including Breaks, Old Skool Hardcore, Future Jungle, Dubstep, House, Drum & Bass - in some cases playing a broad spectrum and in others, being booked to perform just one genre. 

The end of 2011 saw the launch of their new showcase "The Rave Experience" at London's biggest superclub, Proud2 (aka Matter) at the Millenium Dome, where they both mashed up all styles of rave music with scratching, special edits and effects, on 3 decks and 2 mixers. Since then, bookings have flooded in for the duo to perform this unique set, at some of the biggest club events and festivals across the UK.

Godfather’, ‘Legend’, ‘International Hero’. All accolades attributed by loving fans Worldwide to the DJ, Producer and scene pioneer known as ‘Slipmatt’. For over three decades, this dubplate diamond has been changing the game, staying on the pulse and keeping ahead of the curve, packing dancefloors and selling out clubs long before it was cool and still does so to this very day.
  
Having produced a ton of successful singles and compiled a number of hit selling mix albums under his ‘Slipmatt’ alias for some of the World’s most respected record labels including United Dance and Ministry Of Sound, ‘Slipmatt’ is also one of the masterminds behind legendary production outfit SL2 (along with Lime and MC Jay), the visionaries responsible for the chart smashing anthems ‘On A Ragga Tip’ & ‘Way In My Brain’ among many others on the iconic label XL Recordings, home to legendary acts such as ‘The Prodigy’, ‘Basement Jaxx’; and ‘Adele’. 

‘On A Ragga Tip’ is presently enjoying a resurgence of popularity as it goes on the current Virgin Media TV ad as part of their Un-Limiting adverts which includes the new ‘On A Ragga Tip’ Un-Limiting Remix, which has equally proved as popular as ever with dancefloors around the globe and this year alone is scheduled  to collaborate in the studio with Shades Of Rhythm, Andy Galea of Sol Brothers, Alex P, Awesome 3, Alexis Raphael, Sooney and, his good friend DJ Lime with some brand new SL2 releases also in the pipeline.

This wayward don of dance has also played at every major dance event and venue worth knowing about over the years including Energy, Telepathy, Fantazia, Vision, Universe, World Dance, United Dance, Dreamscape, Helter Skelter, Slammin’ Vinyl, Rezurrection, Elevation, Moondance, Raindance, Peace Fest, Clockwork Orange and to top it all off had the great honour of playing directly after his good friends ‘The Prodigy’ to a packed O2 Arena of over 20, 000 people, bringing that particular night to an epic close, and ringing in the year 2014 with a tremendous bang.

‘Slipmatt’ also repeatedly continues to play across the globe in the USA, Asia, Australia, Europe and every corner of his native UK for a string of well recognised and well attended club promotions, festivals and events. He’s no stranger to a Festival or two either playing at leading big top gigs such as Glastonbury, Boomtown and We Are Festival and there has also been and continues to be multiple overseas visits to Ibiza where Slipmatt still to this day enjoys regular return trips to the White Isle’s most infamous hot spots to play such as Eden, Es Paradis and Benimussa Park (The Zoo) 

His media outreach is quite noteworthy also, having started RAW FM, been a resident on Kiss FM, a regular in M8 Magazine and Mixmag, featured in the illustrious DJ Magazine Top 100, he’s been on BBC television a number of times including the famous chart show ‘Top Of The Pops’, runs two of his own popular Radio shows and Podcasts ‘World Of Rave’ and ‘Slip’s House’ and additionally, has won a multitude of awards, including that of ‘Best DJ’ and ‘Best Producer’ awarded by some of the industries most respected bodies such as Kiss FM and EHM.

Not one to ever slow down or fall behind and always keeping himself fresh and relevant, this dancefloor don has been focusing lately on the biggest and best house beats, which has led him to an already extraordinarily busy 2020. Add to that his upcoming book “My Story (and How I Became a World Class DJ)”, which is set to be a smash hit amongst rave fanatics the World over later this year and with over a hundred gigs booked for 2020 already (mid-Feb), there are no signs of this crowd pleasing international artist slowing down any time soon.
