The Unknown is a South African DJ/producer whose sound is mainly Afrocentric house with an infusion of acapella and other sounds. His main goal is to tap into the African sound as he believes this to be a treasure that is yet to be explored in global stages. 

The Unknown’s go getter attitude has scored him a number of opportunities. This is perfectly captured by his ever readiness to share his sound whenever he goes. This is also evident in how purposeful he pushes his passion. He is a multi talented individual, who displays high levels of ambition, musicality and creativity as he is the founder of Revo Fridays and currently has a radio residency at DYR FM. Revo Fridays is a recurring event that has kept the streets of Durban vibrant and the people dancing. 

The Unknown has also shared the stage with a number of local artists including DJ Shimza, DaCapo, Black Motion and many more. He has also played at a number of big festivals and nightclubs including Culture Durban, The Creative Market, News Café, Niche and Kitcheners.
