Dave D'Mello is a British dance music DJ and record producer from Kent, United Kingdom who is known for playing dirty, funky house music and often blends elements of funk, rock, and old school. 

Began DJing back in the early 1990s and has had residencies at Pacha, Revolution and ACTV in Spain, The Play Room, Dolce and The Gardening Club in London and Mu Mu's in his hometown of Maidstone. 

Has produced and released many tracks over last two decades, having also remixed tracks for mainstream artist's such as MIA, BT, Kadoc, D:Ream and in July 2010 released a collaboration with Jan Johnston called "Remember".

Ranging from vague and dreamy ambient melodies to energetic rock songs, delving into techno jazz, "Tales from My Solitary Kingdom" creates a world-like atmosphere, offering everything that exists to be experienced by the listener journeying through the album or one of his shows.    

After growing up in Lithuania, Vytautas Tinteris, the solo artist of The First Man, has led an extremely erratic life: living in squats in London, studying in Estonia and the Czech Republic, camping by the ocean in Portugal while making documentaries about hippie communes there, directing fashion videos in Paris, hitchhiking across continents, with the sole objective "to get to know this beautiful world". After releasing the feature film "Plastic Palace People" in 2019, Tinteris turned from his origins as a filmmaker to what he calls "a universal language" of music, capable of conveying to others the world he sees and wishes to share. Closing himself almost entirely off from society for three months, he recorded "Tales from My Solitary Kingdom" in a rickety 19th century building, awkwardly situated in between grey Khrushchyovkas, Soviet-built apartments buildings; from this vantage point, conducting an orchestra of three guitars, synthesizers, a string quartet, two jazz vocalists and a rock star.
