Esskay aka Scott Kenchington is a talented young DJ/Producer heralding from the Copper Coast town of Wallaroo on South Australia’s Yorke Peninsula.

Esskay built a name and dedicated following from performances at many private shows across the Yorke Peninsula, Mid North and Adelaide and got his first break in a venue with the Coopers Alehouse, affectionately known as “The Tav” on Saturday nights back in 2010. After a break from this residency, he has performed at many more parties as well as guest spots at the Royal Hotel in Moonta, The Wallaroo Hotel and Port Pirie’s Family Hotel. He is now back at the Coopers Alehouse from July 2012 as a rotational resident, and big things loom for this young disk jockey and aspiring producer.
Esskay is gradually breaking into the highly competitive Adelaide scene with a notable guest spot at Apple’s Almost Famous Thursday nights, as well as guest spots at Red Square’s Red Light District and HQ’s Everyone parties. He is expected to break out further in 2012/13 in Adelaide showcasing this capable DJ’s talents.
Esskay has now supported many established Adelaide acts such as Acid Please Deejays, Paul Marshman, Uberjak’d, Bollocks Deejays, Leah Mencel, Wellsaid and the likes, but the real breakout came in August through to December 2012 with major supports for Bombs Away, Tom Piper, Pablo Calamari, Mobin Master, Rave Radio & Vandalism.

Esskay is working on some original tracks, as well as continually releasing mix tapes and bootlegs through this soundcloud account.

Keep an eye for this guy, Adelaide, as he is only moving up to bigger and better things, supported by a huge fanbase in the tourist region containing the towns Wallaroo, Kadina & Moonta.
