So for episode 034 we had a lot of shouts after sharing the first disc on this compilation, which was the Jeremy Healy one. (Also excellent). But with so many requests it was time to get the Whitehead one up there, and after listening to again for the first time in over 10 years or so the memories of its brilliance came flooding back. It's a more soulful set with come epic vocal and feel good moments which made the mid to late 90's a much more enjoyable place to be.

So many stand out tracks but off the top of my head, Right and Exact, Tall and Handsome, Weekend, I Believe, Happiness and the highlight for me, the epic 'Sweetest Day of May' by Joe T. Vannelli Project. It's fantastically put together and a mix with truly belongs into the classic status. Whatever you're up to now Alistair... we salute you!

Back with another mix from my Doved up series and it's the last mix of 2015 from me.  There's just over an hour of softer tunage from the early 90s, with a nod to places like Shelley's and the hacienda.  There's a mixed bag of stuff from Italian and UK piano screamers to full on vocal tracks.  No apologies for the tunage, it is what it is and if you were there, you'll probably know them all!  As always, there's loads of edits and mash ups to keep it interesting.

february 1991, shellies  .... update 5/11/09 ... I'm amazed at the number of people who have downloaded this mix. It has survived an epic journey from a C90 cassette to media file. Shame I haven't still got the other side. It just goes to show how much range in a set there was in those days. Even if there a few slips mix wise (not as easy to dj then as it is now). Considering the time it was done and the song selection it still sounds fresh today .....
