Sal Solaris is a Russian electronic duo working since late 1990s. Starting its experiments with autistic ambient, the project moved to dark techno fused with industrial noise and fury. Collaborators mention among sources of their inspiration science fiction and philosophical concepts such as psychoanalysis, and say they practice audiotherapy for 'broken cohesion of the world', propaganda of neoteny, inner and outer space conquest. Last years Sal Solaris play live a lot sharing the scene with such different projects like Ancient Methods and Bad Sector, Demdike Stare and Ambidextrous, Inade and SHXCXCHCXSH. Duo has releases on such labels as Cyclic Law, Hau Ruck!, Zhelezobeton, Kultfront etc. Last album 'Thresholds' appeared in 2016 at their own label NEN Records.
