Janis and the Planets is inspired by jazz/blues/soul/reggae/ ranging from places like New Zealand, France, New York, but not limited to other places that I’m influenced by. 

The planets in the name ‘Janis and the Planets,’ is referring to anyone I make music when collaborating. 
My goal is to show my own genre of music while exploring different kinds of art mixed  together to create a different sound! Imagine 2 primary colors making a new color 🎨🎶
