The project Cash in Flowers was established in early 2008. For a group of musicians maringaensis, which together formed the Present Tense, recognized as Cover band Pearl Jam in southern Brazil. Eager to compose their own music, and chart their own course, the group began holding the festival in all over Brazil - with their own songs. And in mid-2008 launched an independent single, entitled "Ellen" - which was also the title of the song of the band's work. In year (2009) the band released another single, with only one song: the song "Orange Day" - which is the title song as well. In the first half of 2012 was launched sigle "Kill me" is well accepted by the critics, the Cash in Flowers then launched three more songs "Hangover," "Shine of Illusion" and "Angles Eyes". Currently producing more Cash in Flowers is an independent disk, perhaps the band is at its most productive stage since its inception. And prepare an entire disk, with the promise of at least 11 new songs - which is scheduled for July 2012. ..

Considerado dinossauro do Rock de Santa Maria e um ícone local do gênero, Pylla está há quase 30 anos na estrada, desde a Banda Thanos, que foi a primeira do gênero heavy metal em Santa Maria, no início dos anos 80, e da Banda A Bruxa, uma das precursoras das bandas de rock na cidade, nesta mesma época. O grande marco da carreira de Pylla foi sua atuação como vocalista da Banda Fuga, de 1987 a 1996, que marcou época tanto no cenário local quanto em todo o sul do Brasil. Com a Fuga Pylla gravou dois discos (“Fuga” e “Crime ao Vivo”) que imortalizaram grandes sucessos que até atualmente são nomeados como hinos do Rock’n’Roll de Santa Maria, como por exemplo a conhecidíssima “Saudade”.  Com a Banda Fuga Pylla foi duas vezes campeão do Circuito de Rock promovido pela RBS TV e participou da coletânea ELO UM em 1993. A Fuga se desfez em 1996, mas Pylla continuou na ativa, com a Banda 220 Volts e Banda Chá. Em 2005, iniciou com um trabalho solo, gravando dois CDs (Bruxos Rosa e Pylla Canta 25 Anos de Rock Santa Maria em 2008), acompanhado pela banda C14, com a qual permanece até então.

O grupo da Zona Oeste do Rio expressa sua música “como um grito forte que ecoa de um alto-falante desde a mais alta colina”. O rock híbrido e com forte pegada da Indivíduo K é resultado de um denso tempero musical, composto por muito peso, Rock,Hip Hop,Rap e música brasileira. 
Mas não fica por aí, as boas letras da banda também merecem destaque. Textos engajados e comprometidos com as temáticas sociais da Mídia, Educação, Política e Cidadania revelam que os “Indivíduos” creem sim no papel da música como importante catalisador de transformação social.
Indivíduo K, eis aí uma ótima aposta para quem curte um som cheio de punch e atitude, mas sem deixar o senso crítico em casa.

Driven is an unsigned "American radio rock" band based in Maryland USA that blends hook-laden melodies with innovative layered guitar work. The band's debut album was released in the spring of 2012 and their sophomore record Driven 2.0 hit the shelves in May 2013. Driven's third release called "Hamster Wheel" came out in May 2015. Band members include veteran singer/guitarist Eric Conn (vocals, guitars, bass) and Trevor Simpson (drums, keyboards). All songs are available via iTunes, Spotify, Google Music, etc. Just search for "Driven 2.0" or "Driven Hamster Wheel" and you'll find it.

Matt Halpern from the prog rock band Periphery is a guest drummer on all records. Modern Drummer magazine called Matt the "talk of drum town" and featured him on the cover of their July 2012 issue. Friga is a musical project of Dmitry Friga, musician, composer and sound engineer from Belarus. Author of music for three movies, more then ten theatre plays, member of techno–house project Trockensaft and KDB Records music label. 

FRIGA was created in 2008 by a musician and composer Dmitry Friga.

It is difficult to determine the musical style of the project inside one certain genre. In the first place it is based on the British rock traditions (that's why all songs are performed in English). Sometimes it is hard rock minced through electronic sounds and loops, but after a few songs music covers a listener with a wave of soft lyric melodies, taking roots in the best pieces of pop-rock of 80's-beginning of 90's. It was time, when musicians thought about their music, but not how to perform pop-rock. 

How can you express what you feel when you are walking down the street and music starts playing in your head? When you are listening to it, you feel, the style or instruments, which may help to realize it, are not important. You just listening to the music and don't want it to disappear like many other feelings that come to us and then pass away without a trace. That's how Dmitry Friga's music comes into being. It was created not for the fans of a certain genre. It is like mood pictures frozen in sound, and when you listen to it you can try on the mood of the person who composed it.

Modern Slang is your favorite band's favorite new band. Founded in Memphis, TN (known for its rock, rhythm and blues) in a time of heavily over-produced music, Modern Slang is keepin' it nitty-gritty in the River City. Their music is laden with catchy choruses and raw riffs. The sound is reminiscent of an era when Rock N' Roll was in your face and unapologetic. Modern Slang is fronted by Jaeci King, a demon on the stage and angel on the mic. Kris Sharp clashes blues and classic rock with his Les Paul. Frontman Kade Kastelitz, guitarists Ryan Baustert and Kris Weiser, and drummer Alex Sullivan make a career-defining statement with their breathtaking fifth album, Strangeworld. Produced by Josh Gilbert and Joseph McQueen (As I Lay Dying, Bad Wolves, Light The Torch, Upon A Burning Body), the record is a potent distillation of the strengths of their catalog and a huge step forward to the future. It’s the first Throw The Fight album released in collaboration with Long Branch Records and SPV.

“The album title refers to the odd state of the world we have all been living through these past few years,” Kastelitz offers. “Sometimes we can feel like we aren’t on the same planet anymore.”

The Strangeworld songs came together in Weiser’s cabin during the worldwide pandemic shutdown. Once the band honed the material to their liking, they headed to Sparrow Sound in Pasadena, California, with Gilbert (former bassist for As I Lay Dying and now in Spiritbox) and McQueen. “We worked quickly,” Ryan explains. “We did a lot of tracking before we arrived. We trimmed a lot of the excess and focused mostly on vocal production, really dialing that in, which
was our biggest change.” 

The band’s earliest rumblings drew from melodic punk and hardcore like Alkaline Trio and New Found Glory. Over the years, the crunch of New Wave Of American Metal acts like Killswitch Engage and the raucous rebellion of Every Time I Die found their way into their sound. Ultimately, Throw The Fight isn’t limited by genre conventions, opting to serve each song as the specific song demands. This made for an exciting, eclectic, diverse catalog connected by authenticity and dedication.

Throw The Fight independently sold thousands of their debut EP and topped the unsigned category of the community-driven Pure Volume. A magnetic live show, a determined work ethic, and an electric connection with crowds earned Throw The Fight an invitation to Vans Warped Tour early on. Grassroots support saw Alternative Press anoint them as an Unsigned Band To Watch in 2006.

Tours with Bullet For My Valentine, Black Veil Brides, and All That Remains; shows with Avenged Sevenfold, Papa Roach, and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus; festival appearances and headlining gigs introduced audiences to the power of the band’s sound as it evolved across four albums, and EPs.

The aptly titled In Pursuit of Tomorrow (2008) was an ambitious debut. The band collaborated with platinum producer John Feldmann (blink-182, Korn, The Used) on What Doesn’t Kill Us (2012), which boasted the unstoppable “Not So Hollywood,” among other highlights. Cryptic Rock declared Throw The Fight “better than ever, with heavier, catchier songs” on album three, Transmissions (2016).

Settle Your Sins (2020) saw longtime bassist and co-vocalist Kastelitz step up to the frontman position. His overwhelmingly captivating performances drove songs like “Paper Wings” and “Misery” to become new fan favorites, each powered equally by stellar musicianship and emotion. The 2021 acoustic EP, Inside Out, resulted in 2.7 million views for the “Wolves in the Dark” music video.

Strangeworld is just as powerful lyrically as it is musically. “Cover Your Tracks” kicks off the record with a call to action to question everything. “Hourglass” references the passage of time. “Moments are precious,” Kade says. “It’s a reminder to embrace life and be grateful for our limited time on this planet.” “Obey” resists forced complacency. “Lost Without You” deals with the grieving process.

“Sorry, Not Sorry” is “about releasing guilt for following your passions and dreams, realizing it’s not selfish. It’s self-care,” Kade explains. It’s a bold summary of what Throw The Fight represents. “It’s a ‘Strangeworld,’ but through music and art, we can express what we feel and deal with daily.”

Throw The Fight creating a record this powerful from a position of strength was no accident.

“We’ve consistently executed something every day for years and never quit,” Ryan says. “It doesn’t sound very exciting, but that’s the secret. That’s why we can still do this 20 years in. We maintained our independent, DIY work ethic from day one, continually doing things on our terms.”
